(+PICTURES) HOW COME YOU ALL DID NOT NOTICE THIS….IN FATIMA DANGOTE’S WEDDING TO JAMIL ABUBAKAR (FATIMA IS THE DAUGHTER OF ALIKO DANGOTE)

The richest businessman in the whole Africa with zillions of Naira in his account Aliko Dangote, recently gave out his beautiful daughter Fatima Dangote to her soulmate Jamil Abubakar (the pilot son of former IGP, M.D Abubakar) in grand style.

The people that graced the event were the creme de la creme of countries, talking about presidents of various countries, former presidents, richest businessmen ever liveth, top celebrities and so on. I mean, which wedding so far has been able to garner the world’s second richest man, Bill Gates, Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete,Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo and his wife, Wife of the president- Aisha Buhari, Ex-Head of State Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Senate President Bukola Saraki and his wife Toyin, The ome that controls Lagos after God and the ex governor of Lagos state and Asiwaju Tinubu and his wife Remi Tinubu etc

FIVE THINGS I NOTICED…

1. Everything about the event glittered- starting from the venue to the cake, food, bride, groom, the invited guests; just everything glittered

2. You can not be a tanika somebori and attend that wedding. Mbok, what I mean is that the wedding is not for ordinary people. Your account must be ringing in loud millionsssss nearing to billion

3. The meal served there was not all this akpu abi amala or its likes. I didn’t even see rice, what I saw were some rich snacks, chicken wey get flesh no be bone o placed fanimorously in that glittering plate

4. I thought I saw that bottle water I usually take. Yeah, I take that water too. If I hear- na wash o, that bottle water was specially made for the couple; that is what you call customized bottle water.

5. Lastly, so many celebrities in the entertainment industry were missing in action. Also, some would go there and be forming I know him jare, he was present at my event- you are on your own ooo, that day was just about his lovely daughter. And for those celebrities that didn’t go because they were feeling inferior…, sorry o, I am sure Aliko Dangote didn’t notice, and those that intentionally refused to go and decided to stick to online messaging- na who you epp? And those that were not invited, Hakuri, don’t worry, keep striving, your name would be on Aliko Dangote’s list of friends someday, actually that includes me #Winks

NFC IS A GHOST BODY! SAYS MR. IBU…

The News Agency of Nigeria recently caught up with the comic actor and he had a whole lot to say about the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC)

According to the comic actor, there is a non-existent relationship between the Actors Guild of Nigeria and the NFC and other bodies. He said the NFC is a ghost body and it’s not living up to its mandate except for selective few. He however charged the corporation to redouble its effort and live up to its mission statement of developing an industry that is globally competitive in order to bring about speedy development in the sector

His words

“I have never seen anybody from the NFC willing to genuinely cooperate with any actor, actress or producer involved in Nollywood. Also, there are no laws ensuring that The Nigerian Film Corporation carry out their duties. There are no checks holding the agency accountable, which is the major reason why they can afford to neglect the film industry. The cinematographers, marketers union, the continuity editors and writers are all in disorder. The NFC does not have the film industries’ best interest because it has not shown interest in the unity of this very important sector.”

ABOUT NFC

The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) was established under Decree No.61 of 1979. It is a parastatal of the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture. The Decree empowers the Corporation to lay a solid foundation for the development of a viable and sustainable Film industry and Cinema culture in Nigeria. The Corporation is therefore charged with the responsibility of planning, promoting and organizing an integrated and efficient development of the Nigerian Film Industry.

FUNCTIONS OF NFC

The production of films for domestic consumption and export
The Acquisition and Maintenance of facilities for film production;
The maintenance of National Film and Video Sound Archive
Encouragement of the production of Nigerian films through financial and other forms of assistance
The encouragement of the development of cinematograph theatres by Nigerians by way of financial assistance and other forms of assistance
The acquisition and distribution of films

YOU ARE CHOLERIC! PAUL OKOYE SLAMS SIGNED OUT ARTISTES

Paul Okoye aka King Rudy in a recent interview with the Nation newspaper said that his artistes Muna and Lucy signed under his Rudeboy Records label left for various reasons. According to him, Lucy left to further her education while Muno left willingly early this year. The newly turned solo artiste who was formerly under square records with his twin brother Peter Okoye (Mr.P) and famously called Psquare said his artistes left him because they were choleric.

His words

“These are signs for me to know that some people don’t have patience. Look at what is going on between artistes and labels now. I don’t think I have time. Trust me, I no get energy. It’s going to be hard for me to sign an artiste now but I can assist or help.”

Paul Okoye is also set to release an album from his solo effort and hopes that the world doesn’t see it as a Psquare album but as King Rudy album.
