Hmmm, ndi (the) occupants of Ebute-Metta na (in) Lagos, Nigeria especially areas like “Aiyetoro” Street, and “Act of Apostle” Street are currently not sleeping with their two eyes closed.
Why?
This is because there has been an upsurge in criminal activities in the area by some hooligans recently which has made it difficult for people to sleep with their two eyes closed. Day in day out, the residents of the area walk and work in fear.
Our informant made known to us that some shops were recently burgled as well as destroyed leaving people in tears as well as in penury. Infact, I heard that they went as far as butchering lives and raping ladies in their homes; all sorts of nefarious acts.
The Federal government should biko (please) urgently come to their aid before matters get out of hand as people are dying en-mass.
