ADVERT REVIEW: MENTOS NOW MINT’S AIRPLANE ADVERT “CONCISE AND CLEAR!”

ADVERT REVIEW: MENTOS AIRPLANE “CONCISE AND CLEAR!”

Wow! Just 15 seconds, this must be the shortest television commercial I have ever viewed and reviewed on Ogefash Blog. It also has just one scene, it started and ended on the plane.

THE ADVERT

While on the plane, a lady sitting in thesame row with two others brings out her camera to view a collection of images just to keep herself occupied. A guy sitting beside her sees her pictures, admires them and tells her that he also has a collection of images but the lady is unable to reply him, because the old woman sitting beside her interrupted their conversation. The old woman also tells the young lady that she has a collection of images, as a matter of fact, she says has with her thousands of pictures of her grandchildren. In excitement, the old woman flips open her picture book containing her grandchildren and shows the lady and the guy. The young lady does nothing but smile. She afterwards brings out a bottle of Mentos, grabs one and throws into her mouth so as to have a fresh breath .

DIALOGUE IN THE ADVERT

(Be it your best case scenario)

MAN- Nice photo, I have a gallery

YOUNG LADY- (She says nothing but smiles)

GRANDMA- Photos! I have got thousands of my grandchildren. He is Johnny…

(Or your worst case scenario, with Mentos Now mint, you are ready for anything; who says no to mentos)

THE REVIEW

THE MESSAGE IN THE ADVERT

With Mentos Now Mint you need not fear conversing with other people (though the lady still didn’t reply any of them), because it keeps the breath fresh just like its slogan “Stay Fresh”. It comes in a handy bottle, so you need not worry about the weight in your bag or whereever you place the bottle. It also has great flavour that would definitely please your tongue; for freshening breath on the go.

THE REVIEW

I love this advert, concise and easy to understand “Stay Fresh with Mentos.” Even though it had only a scene, but the airplane stuff looked so real. There were other people in the plane aside the trio who were the major focus of the advert. Infact, some people were sleeping while others were discussing, typical of some people when they are on the plane. I could also hear the humming sound that accompanies a plane when it has taken off and it is in the air. That is originality

JUST WONDERING

  • After taking Mentos Now Mint, the lady still did not converse with any of them

MR.P DEFEATS OTHER TOP ARTISTES IN THIS INTERNATIONAL AWARD!

MR.P DEFEATS OTHER TOP ARTISTES IN THIS INTERNATIONAL AWARD!

Mr. P aka Peter Okoye of Psquare recently clinched an international award. He was recognised internationally for his outstanding efforts in the music industry. The creativity, vigour and elecctrifying performances embedded in all his videos have won him the best International male artiste at the 2018 edition of the International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA) in London.

It is his first award as a solo artiste. Mr.P defeated other top artistes like Davido, Diamond Platnumz to win the award.

After winning the award, he took to his IG account to thank his fans. View his message here…

“Team P this one is for Us! Thanks for the love and support. This is just the beginning. I may not be there yet, but I’m closer than I was yesterday. Thank you so much”

Meanwhile, his song Wokie Wokie ft Nyanda (from defunct Brick and lace) is currently topping Music charts in various countries.

Remember that Mr P and his twin brother~Rudeboy aka Paul Okoye of Psquare were both regarded as Psquare for close to two decades, before they quit the union and started their own solo career.

We wish Mr.P as well as Rudeboy the best in their Solo career.
