WHAT IS THE SONG BABY KINGSWAY BY CBLVCK FT NAIRA MARLEY ABOUT

“Kingsway” that I know is a name of a location in Nigeria. While Baby Kingsway is the name given to a very beautiful lady or someone that is very presentable; so says my mama.

The song perhaps is talking about the slim possibility of still finding beautiful ladies or ladies in general intact when it comes to virginity as most of them have lots of sexual escapade before they eventually get married. C Blvck also mentioned this in verse one, he said after a careful examination to see if their hymen was intact, it wasn’t; no one passed his exam.. View below

“Eyan melo lo se exam mi t’o pass (How many people passed this my exam)”

Also, the video emphasizes how deep a lady’s involvement in sexual activity is. The artistes’ expressions and gestures reveal that most ladies have untightened vaginas which only happens when one has constant sex.

The artistes also talk about a man getting a particular lady and teaching the lady different sex styles rather than wait for virgins which is not feasible…

Lyrically: The song comes in two verses taken by C blvk and Naira Marley respectively. The chorus and pre-chorus were taken only by C Blvck thrice. C Blvck used lots of slangs in this song, just like he did for the song Tingasa.(View the review here- )

A piece of advice for CBlvck, he should drop the use of too many slangs and sing with words that help expand people’s vocabulary. This song lacks quality lyrics. The lyrics are not interconnected; each line talks about something different that is even not relating to the entire song or the title of the song “Baby Kingsway.”

Vocal: Their vocals were not clear enough especially that of C Blvck. I actually strained my ears to hear them. I went as far turning off the fan and muting both the living and non-living things in my house, but still did not hear some lines clearly…

Or maybe it is the slangs that they used that affected the song’s clarity?

Melody: One thing you can’t take away from this song is that it has the kind of fast beat that appeals to DJs and would make them always jam the song in parties, clubs or occasions where people just want to dance non-stop. The song is melodious and  would always get people to move their body, like I am moving mine now. The major instruments used to compose the song include drums, piano and percussion.

Take a gander at the lyrics below…
