(+LYRICS +MEANING +TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW- BEDROOM BY HARMONIZE “INVITATION TO BEDROOM IS AN INVITATION TO…” + THIS GIRL CARRY FOR BACK SHA

What else can an invitation to bedroom be if not an invitation to sex? The last time I checked the “English Dictionary,” a bedroom is not a place for cooking but a place in a house where flat and soft furniture for resting or sleeping is kept

“Bedroom” also refers to a place of sexual activity; again, this Harmonize’s invitation of his girlfriend (By the way, the video vixen carry back sha; as in she is got a big ass) to the bedroom is an invitation to sex. What y’all think?

WHAT IS THE SONG BEDROOM BY HARMONIZE ALL ABOUT

Bedroom by Tanzanian singer- Harmonize is a love song to a lady, but it is more on sexual love and possessive love. The artiste wants to have this lady to himself and share her with no man.

In the song, Harmonize talks about the effect a lady has on him. He shows his readiness to be committed to only this lady as well as give her full attention to show how much he desires her. He also shows his readiness to take care of her and her family financially. He is ready to spend all his money on her and take her on various trips.

The song also talks about the artiste being mesmerized by the lady’s body and her sexual prowess. The artiste in return wants to show this lady that he is equally capable (sexually) and has sexual prowess too, hence the invitation to his bedroom. View the line below…

“Come to my bedroom, I wanna show you something that you never see yeah yeah…”

Lyrically: Interestingly, this is the first song that Harmonize is singing fully in English. No mixture of Swahili or other Tanzanian languages; and he took it flawlessly, even though the way some words were pronounced gave him off. The song “Bedroom” comes in two verses which have the same number of lines. The chorus was taken thrice. The lyrics are sexual; however, they follow a sequence.

Lines that may be referring to sex

“Girl I like the wаy you do me (Body body body)
Thаt slow slow, you never rush
I sweаr I no go tire (Body body body)
Gimme more more my; womаn crush oh come

Allow me to touch it part of you”

I have an issue with the below lines in the verse 2 of the song, it makes it look like the lady in question is a sex worker. She is being compensated for her sexual services. What y’all think?

“Your body sweety sweety, you got from Chinа. Bаby Chinа, bаby girl (Body body body)
Tell me how much I cаn give you so
You cаn switch your phone off
Your dress off, the light off (Body body body)
Me аnd you just one on one (Body body body)”

Vocal: Harmonize has this soothing and appealing vocal. There is no way you would listen to any of his song and not fall in love immediately. His vocal was clear and fascinating; very interesting to the ears. He was consistent with his vocal quality and did not go off tune.

Melody: The song is melodious. The instrumentals are well balanced. The major instruments used to compose the song include drum, piano, shakers and guitar. There was consistency in the style of rhythm. The artiste was expressive as he sang the lyrics. I love the guitar interlude…
