(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW- LIFESTYLE BY DR.SID FT MI ABAGA “I WISH I HEARD WHAT MI SAID IN THIS SONG!”+ WHAT IS THE LIFESTYLE IN THIS SONG?

IG@ogefashblog.

Really what happened to MI’s vocal? Was he just waking up from bed or something, because I really strained my ears to hear his lyrics. I am not even certain of the transcription I did here on Ogefash Photo Blog. Please anyone with the correct lyrics, especially M.I’s lyrics? Biko (Please), kindly, feel free to correct via the comment box.

Moreso, I have searched through this song wondering what exactly is the artistes’ lifestyle like they had titled the song; but didn’t find any. This song would have been better with a title like “Grass to grace.” Okay, I understand Dr. Sid may not want to use that since 2Baba already has that as an album title. What about no more setbacks? What about the comeback?

Okay, I give up; ain’t really good with titles. But really any other title except this “Lifestyle” that Dr.Sid picked would have been preferable. What Y’all think?

WHAT IS THE SONG LIFESTYLE BY DR.SID ABOUT?

The word “Lifestyle” according to English dictionary means the style of lving that reflects the attitudes and values of a person or group.

In this song, Dr.Sid and M.I basically talk about their dark days, setbacks or challenges and how they were able to overcome them through the help of God. They also talked about how they were unnoticed, turned down and rejected by people in their early music days; but now, it is different. People want to cling to them now, especailly girls because, they are shining, making money and suffocating people with their lifestyle which by the way they did not hint listeners about.

Lyrically: I feel these lyrics are best for another song title or better still, this title doesn’t suit the entire lyrics. What y’all think.

The lyrics come in two verses taken by MI and Dr Sid respectively. Please can someone help with MI’s lyrics?

Vocal: Dr Sid’s vocal was still clear than that Of MI. MI’s vocal needs revamping itself. What y’all think?

Melody: I would go for “Interesting” by Dr. Sid ft Don Jazzy a 100 times over this song. The major instruments used to compose this song include drums, piano and harp.

As at the time of penning down thought on this song, the video is yet to drop.

Take a gander at the lyrics below…
