IG @ogefashblog

“Why should they even give Mavin act- Rema the next rated award in the just concluded 13th Headies award?”

The above question was what someone asked me o, and I am asking you all too. Did Rema deserve the award or not?

Hold on, before you answer the question, let me brief you about the Headies award

The Headies (Also known as Hip Hop World Awards) is an annual award organised in Nigeria. The award is given to honour musicians with exceptional music in the course of the year.

This year’s award was tagged “The power of a dream” Burna boy, Teni and Mayorkun were the biggest winners of the night. They all won two or more awards. The show was hosted by Reminisce and Nancy Isime

Among the Of all the categories, the most famous category as well as the most competitive is that of “Next rated”. This is because the award comes with a brand new car.

This year had artistes like Zlatan, Joeboy, Victor AD, Fireboy DML, Lyta and Rema in the Next rated category. So I ask again, do you think Rema deserved the award?

Meanwhile, Naira Marley already attacked the organisers of the award after Rema was announced winner. Naira Marley said Zlatan “Legwork” is bigger that Headies award. Obviuosly, he feels Rema doesn’t deserve the award.

Again, do you think so also?
