ABOUT THE SONG OMO BY BURNABOY

You can now WhatsApp us on +2348087261006; we love to hear from you!

Omo in the context of this song is the name given to a female; I guess.  Burnaboy basically sings about the lady “Omo” who is a good stripper and the cynosure of all eyes. He describes Omo as a beautiful lady that is self contained, ambitious and too busy to have any relationship with any man because she is more concerned about earning more dollars into her pocket. He likens the beauty of Omo to that of Nollywood actress Omotola Jolade Ekehinde and her riches to that of Oil Magnate- Femi Otedola.

In the latter part of the song, Burnaboy however reveals that he desires to have an affair with the lady “Omo” and also have sex with her; he wonders if she would be able to handle him sexually if it eventually happens.

The song “Omo” by Burnaboy has 1 verse. The chorus was taken thrice while the post-chorus and hook were taken twice. There rhythm flows well and there was consistency in the style of rhythm. The artiste rendered the song in a clear and melodious vocal. He sang basically in pidgin. The major instruments used in the song include piano and drum.
