The Lagos State Government on Wednesday arraigned David Olumide Aderinokun, a property developer who is the husband of popular on air personalty- Stephanie Coker, and a brother of late founder of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Tayo Adenirokun. Olumide is a staff of the New Town Development Authority (NTDA) and has been brought before an Igbosere Magistrate Court alongside Balogun Adeniyi Abdul-Wakil, over alleged conspiracy, forgery, stealing and property fraud on parcels of land in Lekki Peninsula estimated at 2678.068 square metres. Derailed train kills three people and leaves many injured:
A US passenger train that derailed killied three people. It was travelling at 80mph (130km/h) on a curve with a speed limit of 30mph, data from the train’s rear engine indicated. It happened in Washington state during rush hour on Monday and officials said 72 people were taken to the hospital. A number of those injured are reported to be in a serious condition. Chinese artist freed on his daughter’s birthday:
A Chinese artist who was arrested after posting videos about Beijing’s controversial mass evictions has been released on bail according to friends.
Hua Yong had filmed a widely-shared farewell video to his daughter before his arrest on Saturday, saying he would not make it for her birthday.But activists said he was freed on Monday evening and was reunited with his family in Chengdu city. They also posted video clips showing him at her birthday celebration.

Corrie Mckeague’s mother says police are investigating murder reports.
Police are said to be looking into calls suggesting Corrie Mckeague could have been left for dead on the night he went missing.
Some months back, CCTV footage showed Corrie separated from his friends, buying food and eating it as he strolled through the town centre before lying down and falling asleep in a shop doorway. His last known movement, at around 3.24am, was to walk unsteadily towards a row of big rubbish bins where police believe he climbed in and was later carried away in a refuse lorry to a landfill site near Cambridge.
