About the song My Boo by Harmonize ft Q Chilla
My boo is a love song. The song is basically about the title of the song “My Boo” which means one’s boyfriend or girlfriend is about two people (Acted by Harmonize and Q Chilla) who fall in love within the short period of meeting each other. Infact, this what you call “Falling in love with a stranger.” However, Chilli’s parents seem to be one of those parents who discriminate against people of other races. So, they take their daughter away from Harmonize.

A white lady (Acted by Q Chilla) was involved in a ghastly road accident but was saved by Harmonize who was within sight when the accident happened. Harmonize took it upon himself to make sure she got well. Her healing was important to him. When Q Chilla got better, a strong bond started developing between the two. They fell in love with each other and did things together. However, the lady’s parents who have searched tirelessly for her found her in the arms of a black man- Harmonize and they are immediately put off by his colour. They take Q Chilla away without even saying thank you to Harmonize.
Lovely video concept I must say. What was Q Chilli even looking at before she had the accident? Perhaps the landscape or what ya think?
There is just that one thing that makes me excited when I hear any of Harmonize’s songs; may be it is the passion he has for music or how he sings expressively with so much joy and vitality. Music indeed lives in him. There is no song of Harmonize that I am ever in a hurry to stop; I just keep playing it.
The song comes in two verses. The pre chorus and chorus were taken twice. The predominant instrument in the song is the drum. Very melodious song; especially the chorus. The song is heartwarming. Both Harmonize and Q Chilla were so soulful; they were quite expressive.
