ABOUT THE SONG GRAVEYARD BY HALSEY
This is a love song no doubt. In the song “Graveyard”, Halsey talks about loving someone so much that it is causing her more harm than good. She is accepting all her partner’s wrongs at the detriment of her true feelings. She is accepting all the person’s excesses that she ought not to. She is quite aware of this person’s bad attitudes that are hurting her deeply and makes the relationship a toxic one, yet she still sticks around the person. She is cheerless but she chooses to stay with him. She is emotionally attached to this person that she always finds herself around the person. Her love for this person has beclouded her sense of reasoning. She is willing to follow the person’s path even though she knows that the end there may be destruction.
The video complements the track. The artiste was expressive as she sang the lyrics. The song has two verses. The chorus which took a chunk part of the song was taken twice.
I couldn’t help but notice her swim wear in the 3 minutes 21 seconds of the song. That’s more like being almost naked in the pool.
