This song has been in the catalog for months, but I just kept on carrying it over to another set of gospel songs to be reviewed; maybe it’s because of the video or something.

To be honest, the first time I listened to this song; I was discouraged to review it because of the video.  But later the song grew on me and now I am reviewing it. Dope song!

WHAT IS THE SONG “UNDER THE CANOPY” BY FRANK EDWARD ABOUT?

According to the English dictionary, a canopy is a high cover providing shelter. It is an overhanging or projecting roof structure over entrances or doors.

In the context of this song “Under the canopy of God” means to be protected by God in such a way that no harm would come near you and no evil would befall you.

In this song, Frank Edwards talks about God’s exceeding love for him and the benefits he enjoys for being under the canopy of God. The benefits include being surrounded by God, mercy, favor, doing great exploits, healing the sick, performing miracles, protection from any form of danger, increase in all areas and a total turn-around..

The artiste also talks about putting his trust in God because he is the God that never fails, lies, disappoint or cheats like humans.

The song comes in two verses. The pre-chorus was taken four times while the chorus was taken thrice. The lyrics are meaningful and easy to comprehend. The artiste sang in Pidgin. His vocal is rich, appealing and expressive. I love the combination of instrumentals used to compose this song; very balanced, rhythmic and engaging. The major instrumentals used include drums, harp, guitar, and piano. Under the canopy is a fast tempo song that is very melodious; although the intro started like a slow tempo song.

I love their choreography; so lively.

Interestingly, Ogefash blog also known as Ogefash Photo Blog is the first blog all over the world to blog with lots of interesting pictures to support all articles. Ogefash says "I don't keep male friends because they always say "sex" is part of friendship. I don't keep female friends because they are always bitchy. I only keep people I can call more than a friend!" Ogefash has an affinity for TV reality shows. In 2018, she represented Nigeria in the PanAfrican TV reality game show "The Maltavator Challenge" powered by Nigeria's number one malt drink packed full of energy giving vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6;Malta Guinness.
