So, at the latter part of this “Eko” song by Kizz Daniel, I heard someone say ‘Omo iya mi, se oni 30 billion ti o le ya mi?” which means “Do you have 30 billion that you can borrow me?”
If you are a music lover, you would know that the phrase 30 billion is synonymous with no one but OBO aka Omo baba olowo aka Davido. Going by the fight that reportedly happened between the two, I am wondering if he was throwing shades at Davido. What ya think? Fill me in.
So let’s talk about the song Eko by kizz Daniel. Like you know, the word “Eko means Lagos. The artiste used this song to talk about the hustling and bustling in the city of Lagos in the country Nigeria. In Lagos, despite how noisy a particular place may be, people still engage in different jobs just to survive. He also says in Lagos, you would find those that do all sorts of job (Legal and illegal) to survive. He advises people to be careful when transacting business in Lagos in other not to be scammed. He says Lagos is a place of lesson for any novice. He also says there is a whole lot of information that helps one to be successful in Lagos compared to other states. Lastly, he beckons on people who are making it at the moment not to look down on or insult those that are yet to make it, else, they may experience their suffering too.
