Couple- Funke Akindele Bello aka Jennifer and her husband- Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz have been fined .1 million
naira (100,000) each and sentenced to fourteen days Community Service for disobeying government’s directives on social distancing since coronavirus broke out.
The couple threw a large party to celebrate Abdulrasheed Bello’s birthday in their Amen Estate; Naira Marley, Eniola Badmus, Funke’s friends, all scene one production actors as well as Abdulrasheed Bello’s friends were in attendance. This did not go down well with Nigerians who felt the couple already broke government’s rules and needed to be made scape-goats so that others don’t repeat the same mistake.

Funke Akindele has however released a video on Instagram appealing ( That her spectacle though; hia, it’s looking like sympathy spectacles) to Lagos State and the entire Nigerians to temper justice with mercy for disobeying government’s directives.
According to her, those at the party have been in her estate before coronavirus broke out.
