MY STORY

So one morning at about some minutes to 6, I boarded a certain bus and was forced to notice two children (Both females) who sat at the extreme. One of them greeted me like there was no tomorrow, she greeted me non-stop. Infact her sister had to ask her  if she knew me. I was eager to hear her reply because in all honesty I couldn’t recollect her face.

Then in reply to her sister’s question, she said “yes.”

Her sister asked “Where?”

By now I was already extremely eager to find out where she knew me from

And she replied “She gave us cake flier the other day”

Immediately I heard that, I was; I don’t know what to say, I was blank. Egbami (save me), kilode na, gbogbo greetings because I shared flier. I mean the purpose of sharing the cake flier to them was for them to tell their parents to buy cake from that company. In all honesty, I did not even take note of faces when I was sharing the flier.

Moving on, I appreciated her for remembering me as the “cake flier” sharer and for the many greetings and plenty smile with me…

So more passengers entered the bus and there was a great distance between us. You know there was no way she could get my attention easily. So as the conductor started asking for money, you won’t believe this small child was expecting me to pay her fare o.

Ni otito; as in, in all honesty, with the way she greeted me severally and smiled at me, if I had extra cash, I would have paid her fare. But I don calculate my fare hold for hand, and there was no way I could afford to pay for her and her sister.

As I was saying jare, so as the conductor started asking for money. She was looking at my side to pay for them. In order to get my attention, she was now calling me from afar to ask how much I wanted to give the conductor ( Ahah, common child, there were two or more passengers sitting closer to you before me, why didn’t you ask them for change first…) When I told her the amount I wanted to give the conductor, she was so disappointed to find out that I didn’t even intend paying their fare; pele o…

While other blogs provided just music lyrics alone, we took it higher by not only providing lyrics, but translating, interpreting and analyzing as well. Ogefash says "I don't keep male friends because they always say "sex" is part of friendship. I don't keep female friends because they are always bitchy. I only keep people I can call more than a friend!" Ogefash has an affinity for TV reality shows. In 2018, she represented Nigeria in the PanAfrican TV reality game show "The Maltavator Challenge" powered by Nigeria's number one malt drink packed full of energy giving vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6;Malta Guinness. The show brought together four African countries Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia and Coted'ivoire who competed for the grand prize of 20,000 dollars. Undaunted by any task in her field, Ogefash is highly energetic and creative. She is a rare gem and a gift to this generation.
