I feel Kata’s beat is quite similar to the beat for “Your love” by Tekno. It is also similar to that of “Pana” by the same artiste. What y’all think?

WHAT IS THE SONG KATA BY TEKNO ABOUT

Hmm! The word “Kata” is obviously another slang by Tekno. I am sure Tekno just used the word with no particular meaning in mind. In all honesty, I have gone through the lyrics countless times, but still, can’t figure out what he may mean by the slang “Kata”

However, “Kata” is a love song by Tekno to a beautiful and sexy lady that has stolen his heart. Although it seems like the lady is yet to accept his proposal; he is however not giving up on her anytime soon. He has fallen completely in love with this beautiful lady that he is willing to harm anyone that tries to come close to her; even if it leads to his damnation.

Although he called the beautiful lady he has fallen in love with “Folake” but later switched to “Brenda” which is quite confusing. I really must ask though; this Tekno’s Folake that he usually sings about must really be a real character and not finctional. He often adds that name to most of his songs. What y’all think.

 

Lyrically: Tekno’s lyrics are always shivering. These are average lyrics anyway. The song has only one verse. The pre-chorus and chorus pre-dominated the song. They were taken twice and thrice respectively.

Vocal: He has an appealing vocal. He was also consistent with the vocal quality; rich, clear, and not out of tune. The major instruments used to compose the song include drums, piano, harp and guitar.

Melody: This song is tuneful. It is neither a fast tempo beat nor a slow tempo beat; mid-tempo does it. The song is danceable.

As at the time of penning down thoughts on this song; the video is yet to drop.
