The story was about an Igbo man, Maduka (Acted by Nkem Owoh) that married two wives, Asake (Acted by Bimbo Ademoye (Young) and Sola Sobowale (Old) and Ezinne (Acted by Tina Mba.)
Ezinne, the first wife of Maduka, was an Igbo woman, while Asake, the second wife of Maduka was from the Yoruba tribe.
Both were always at loggerheads as they constantly compete to get their husband’s attention to themselves. When one of them does something, the other wants to equally do it.
Asake and Ezinne’s hatred for each other continued during pregnancy and after pregnancy, till they passed it on to their daughters, Yejide( Acted by Funke Akindele) and Awele (Acted by Mercy Johnson.)
Yejide and Awele continued where their mothers stopped; they were always at loggerheads. Their feud intensified when both of them established a food business on the same street, Buka Street, in Otanwa Community.
