The inauguration and swearing-in-ceremony of Senator Ademola Adeleke (Of the People’s Democratic Party) were held at the Osogbo city stadium, Osun State, Nigeria. The ceremony was on Sunday, November 27, 2022.
Governor Adeleke was sworn in as the 6th executive governor of Osun State alongside his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi.
If you recall, they were declared the winner of the Osun governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday, June 17th, 2022.
The new governor vowed to revamp all dilapidated sectors as well as curtail corrupt practices in Osun State.
The ceremony was attended by the cream of the society. Davido Adeleke, his wife, Chioma Adeleke, and crew were also spotted in the ceremony.
Both Davido and Chioma were trying to avoid the cameras but were cajoled by Davido’s father, Mr. Adedeji Adeleke, and the new Governor, Ademola Adeleke which made them eventually face the camera. They were caught smiling, even if it was just for the camera’s sake.
