After several weeks of

shutting down the economy by obliging its citizens to lockdown their various businesses and stay home in order not to contract the the deadly disease- coronavirus, the federal government has decided to reopen the economy.

To ease off the sufferings the lockdown brought on people, the federal government said businesses can now open, but with the exception of entertainment centers such as bars, event centers, cinemas, night clubs beaches.

Also, worship centers, primary, secondary and tertiary institutions are to remain closed till further notice.

Swimming pools, barber-shops, spas, beauty salons should also remain closed.

As far as Ogefash is concerned, the economy is not even partially shutdown but still fully shutdown. Because basically, we have more employers and employees in the aforementioned sectors in Nigeria than anywhere.
