This is another song my neighbor played into the catalog of songs to be reviewed on Ogefash Photo Blog. She played it non stop, and the song caught my attention. And now it is on Ogefash Photo Blog.

WHAT IS THE SONG OME KA NNAYA ABOUT
The word “Ome ka Nnaya” is an Igbo word in Nigeria that means “He does like His father.”
The song basically talks about Jesus as the son of God and how He acts exactly like the father; which is derived from the title of the song.
In the song, the artiste reverences God for His holiness and His words that always come to pass. She also praises him for the good things He has done for her and how far He has brought her in life. She vows to stick with Jesus forever. She further shows her appreciation to God with intense praise, and implores God to accept it.

Mercy sang in English and mostly in Igbo, which is a Language spoken widely by Easterners in Nigeria. The melody is tuneful and uplifting, likewise the instrumental. Her vocal is rich, clear and appealing. The song comes in two verses. The chorus was taken thrice while the pre-chorus and post-chorus was taken twice. The lyrics are uplifting and partly sequential. It is a slow tempo song. The major instruments used include the drums, piano, shakers, and tambourine.
The song is quite lengthy. As at the time of reviewing this song, the artiste has not yet released the video for the song.
