IG @ogefash.

Nawa oh, is this one ballet? This their ballet is what you call “Bab” or “Babber ballet” Walahi, the ballerinas did not put effort in that their ballet dance.

Moving on, when I saw the number of views this song has garnered overtime on YouTube; I was disappointed. I expected more views for a spirit-lifting, spirit-filling and melodious song by these great artistes. So I am wondering, is it that people do not know that the video is out on YouTube? If you don’t know; quickly check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1alCBQZqBiY-

WHAT IS THE SONG “NO ONE LIKE YOU” BY EBEN DT NATHANIEL BASSEY ABOUT?

The song “No one like You” is about the uniqueness and superiority of God. He is incomparable. He is the God of gods and the Lord of lords.

The artistes also acknowledge the wonders of God in the lives of people and how he has filled the mouth of people with great testimonies. View some of the testimonies below…

TESTIMONIES

  • Angela was going through a financial struggle, but one day, she miraculously receives 14,000 dollars from the government.
  • Kimberly thanking God for healing her entire mind, body, and spirit.
  • Christabel believing God for a child and having the faith that God would do it.
  • Jim decided to live his life for Christ after God saved him from a major sickness through the prayers of friends, families and his school.

The song has only one verse but was repeated thrice by Eben, Nathaniel Bassey, and the back-up singers respectively. The chorus was taken thrice. The lyrics are meaningful and uplifting. The melody is catchy and tuneful. It, however, sounds familiar, but I can’t place which song has a similar tune with this. The artistes have strong vocals and were very expressive with the vocals as well.  The rhythm flows well and they were consistent with the style of rhythm. The major instruments used to compose the song include piano, drums, and harp. The artistes sang in English but fused it with Igbo Words like “Eze” which means “King” and “Ebube” which means “Wonders”

They also fused it with some Yoruba words like “Atofarati, Eleruiyin, Awimayehun, Aladewura”. View their meanings below

Eleruiyin: The One worthy to be praised; Awimayehun: The God that speaks and it cometh to pass or His word doesn’t change; Atofarati: The God you can rely on or lean on; Alade wura: Crown of Glory.

JUST WONDERING

Why the dance did his face like someone in pains. View at the 1 minute 37 seconds of the song, like someone in pains.

That Nathaniel’s laughter is synonymous to only him; I like though. Listen to it at the 2 minutes 2 seconds of the song.

Take a gander at the lyrics below.
