This song has millions of views on YouTube and has certainly caught my undivided attention. Thank you Judiikay for this dope track!
If there is one song I particularly like of all the songs I reviewed; trust me it is “More that gold” by Judiikay; this song itself is more than gold.
WHAT IS THE SONG SOMETHING MORE THAN GOLD ABOUT?
When you refer to someone as “More than Gold; you mean that person is indispensable. That is, the person is important, valuable and you can’t do without the person.
Judiikay in this song places Jesus above all things or anyone. She says Jesus is incomparable and more precious than anything or anyone, or more precious than the most precious things in life.
According to her, if all she has is just Jesus, then, she has everything in life.
She also sings about God’s love for her. She acknowledges God as her source of joy, success and the one behind everything she does. God’s wonders make her yearn more for him. She also shows readiness in spreading the good news about Jesus and his wonders to the world.

Judiikay’s vocal is so sweet, appealing; infact, her vocal is also more than gold. I love the lyrics; detailed, meaningful, inspiring and are in order. This is the kind of song wey (that) I like; song wey (that is) set. The song comes in two verses. The verse one and two have the same number of lines- “4.” The pre-chorus, chorus and post chorus were taken four times each. She sang expressively to the beat. She was excited about who she was singing about- “Jesus.” She sang with all happiness, I could really feel joy in that appealing vocal of hers. She was also able to modulate properly; she did not go screechy. She sang in English only. The major instruments used to compose the song include drums, guitars and piano.
I love the video as well. I really love her facial expression in the 3 minutes 2 seconds of the video.
