IG @ogefashblog.

I really can’t tell if the Jore the artistes are referring to is the name of a Female lover or the they used the word “Jore” to emphasize their joy for having pretty and good women in their lives.

ABOUT THE SONG JORE BY ADEKUNLE GOLD FT KIZZ DANIEL

I once said in one of Ogefash blog reviews of AD’s songs  titled “Before you wake up”, that AD is underestimated, if not, this song should have gotten over millions of views “tipe” (As in since), but here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU3d-LjKAE4 are the number of views the video has garnered since the artiste dropped the song. What ya think? It deserves more views right?

The song “Jore is no doubt a love song. It is a song whereby a guy is deeply and irrevocably in love with a lady. He is willing to do anything for her to make her happy just like she makes him happy; even if it means giving her all his life savings.  He expresses his desire to always be around her.

The song “Jore” is pretty brief. It has two verses taken by Kizz Daniel and Adekunle respectively. The lyrics are not punchy. The chorus was taken twice, firstly by Kizz Daniel alone and then by both artistes. I love the tune, it is catchy and this seductive tune. The artistes have appealing vocals. I love the video as well especislly the intro where Kizz Daniel leaned on his girlfriend #Winks. The video is interesting to watch and it indeed complements the track.

The artistes sang in pidgin but fused it with Yoruba; a Nigerian language. The major instruments used in the song include drum, piano and percussion. It is a slow tempo song and the rhythm flows very well. This song is so tuneful!

THE MEANING OF SOME WORDS

Olayiwola OlayiwomoLue: Molue is a rickety kind of bus used for commercial purpose in Nigeria especially “Lagos”. Certainly, this Molue is not entered by those that are wealthy. So this line may mean that the rich has used its riches to touch a poor person which automatically changed their financial status.

Take a gander at the lyrics below.
