ABOUT THE SONG LOCATION BY DAVE FT BURNA BOY

The song location talks about different things. It talks about money, drinking, flirting with women, partying non-stop and moving from grass to grace. The artistes reveal that there was a time when they did not have money, but now they have lots of money to live a good life as well as live the way they want to. It also talks about a relationship with no commitment but for the fun of it. The artistes reveal how wealthy they are and how ladies are flocking around them.

In the song, Burnaboy whose role in this song appears to be a pimp (Someone who is paid for arranging ladies for customers) is demanding the location of a certain lady so he can hook her up with Dave.

Dave on his part says this lady is skilled (Skilled in what exactly?) He vows to take her on vacations via air as well as on a boat cruise. He reveals that he and this lady would be having uninterrupted fun.

The song comes in three verses which are quite lengthy. The first two verses were taken by Dave while the third was taken by Burna boy. Burnaboy alone took the chorus which was taken thrice. The most melodious part of the song was the chorus. Dave sang in English while Burnaboy sang in Pidgin. They have got appealing vocals however, at some point in the song, Burnaboy’s vocal was not clear. The major instruments used in the composition of the song include drums and piano.

Take a gander at the lyrics below

LYRICS TO LOCATION BY DAVE FT BURNA BOY

INTRO

JAY5

CHORUS (BURNA BOY)

If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Shay make I come check you my baby
No time, no
And my dog is on probation, another five years
Me bring girls to his location
No time, no

VERSE 1 ( DAVE)

Send me the location
This year ’bout vacations, flight catching, train taking
Soon as my nigga off probation
Your boyfriend’s on a waiting thing
Looking for one wish, on a Ray J ting
How pretty that girl, outrageous thing
But she can’t see ’cause I got shades in me
Bare girls wanna throw shade and ting
No shade, what shade is your foundation in?
Darkest grey, the shade I’m in
Forty nine more if your babes wants in
I had me a famous ting
Goals and tings, gains and tings
My house party a babe station
Girls wanna chase, it’s a status ting

CHORUS (BURNA BOY)

If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Shay make I come check you my baby
No time, no
And my dog is on probation, another five years
Me bring girls to his location
No time, no

VERSE 2 (DAVE)

Look, playboy, I don’t need a Carti
I’m captain, I lead the army
Bad ratio, I leave the party
Three Somalis creeping’ on me
Your ex wavy, we tsunami
Girl from India, sweetest nanny
Head so good, now I speak xxxxxx
You hardly, pardon me, I’m laughing again
I assisted, man, passed to my friend
Look, money like the alphabet
If you wanna see P’s, gotta pass on the ends
Came a long way from a park in the bends
To an ’18 plate, man’s parking a Benz
Far from the rest but I’m far from my best
Life is a lesson, I’m passing a test
Yes, every ting blessed
I don’t want drama and I don’t want stress
My girl got finessed, Caribbean flex
Body and chest, take buddy in chest
Thank God more, I grew up with less
Just to the right, raps to the left
Arg’ in the middle, got C’d to the death
Batch full of dogs with the 60’s vets

CHORUS (BURNABOY)

If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Shay make I come check you my baby
No time, no
And my dog is on probation, another five years
Me bring girls to his location

VERSE 3 (BURNA BOY)

Nigga I was down but I made it to the top right now (right now, right now, right now)
And I can pull a couple grand out my pocket right now (right now, right now, right now)
Yeah I’m so fly, yeah I’m flyer than a rocket right now (right now, right now, right now)
And all the games you play never stop right now (right now, right now, right now)

I pull up on the block, I see everybody watching. ‘Cause there’s diamonds on my chain
And there’s diamonds on my watch. Money moves, off white shows
Came straight from Virgil xxxxxx. I’ve been down, I’ve been low
Had my mattress on the floor. xxxxxxxx, North Cap, bend it up
Girl a ring ring my cellular. Me have a big fat spliff pon xxxxxx
Inna the big black Benz, pulling up. Please tell everybody to start pulling up
Enough champagne from the bar coming up. Party hard, make I live my life, oh

CHORUS (BURNA BOY)

If you send me the location
Then I’ll be right there
Shay make I come check you my baby
No time, no
And my dog is on probation, another five years
Me bring girls to his location

No time no
