(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW JAHO BY KIZZ DANIEL “I AM SO FEELING THIS SONG; SO FAN-MAD-O-STIC!”

IG @ogefashblog.

This song is what you call

mad o; as in, odi (it is) so marvelous. Kizz Daniel has overtime proven that he is here to stay in the music industry and there is certainly no stopping of the great talent embedded in him. Not even his former record label; oginni bu their name (As in what’s their name), ehen G-unit, no, G-Worldwide can stop his shine.

I am so feeling the song “Jaho” by Kizz Daniel and I am sure those that have heard the song are also the feeling it as well and are exclaiming “so fan-mad-o-stic” like I just exclaimed now.

ABOUT THE SONG JAHO BY KIZZ DANIEL

The word Jaho is the short form for Jehovah/God which was actually coined by celebrities; I guess. The song “Jaho” by Kizz Daniel is basically a call unto God by the artiste to lift him above challenges, circumstances, difficulties or troubles of life and make him happy in life.

The song also calls on people to know their goal in life and aim towards achieving it. It calls on people to live their lives rather than get enticed to other people’s lifestyles and copying them as well. He advises people not to keep bad company, but strive to set themselves regardless of the pressure surrounding them. He also implores people to look unto God, seek help from him as He alone has solutions to all problems.

How can I just not love this song? I certainly do. I love the tune; so inspiring, thought-provoking and would sober you. It would make you reflective. At some point, I was really reflective about the way I was living; if it was right or not, if it was pleasing to God or not. Kizz Daniel really put real feelings as he sang the lyrics. Kizz Daniel and all those he featured in the song were very expressive; their faces and body language showed that they were really reflective about their lifestyle.

The song “Jaho” comes in two verses. The pre-chorus and chorus were taken twice each. The artiste’s vocal is rich and he maintained the vocal quality; extremely rich. There was no particular time he was out of tune. The rhythm of the song flows well and he was consistent with the style of rhythm. I love the beat; odi (it is) so dope! The beat is a fast one and can grab people’s attention quickly. The major instruments used in the composition of this song include the drum and piano which are the major instruments Nigerian musicians use to compose their songs. Kizz Daniel sang both in pidgin and Yoruba; a Nigerian language.

For the video; at least this particular TG Omori’s video is clear. The visual for “Komajensun” by Mohbad ft Naira Marley wasn’t too clear.

Anyway, I am trying to understand the story in the video. It seems like a particular guy went astray but later retraced his footsteps and turned a new leaf. Have an idea about the story in the video? Kindly fill us in via the comment box…

WHAT I NOTICED:

  • I noticed that Nigerian musicians love to copy one another. I remember that it was a particular musician that first featured albinos in his song; I can’t place the artiste’s name for now, but if you have an idea, kindly let us know. Others have joined in also using albinos. Mayorkun used an Albino in the song “Up to Something”, Wizkid used an albino in the song “Blow” and now Kizz Daniel in the song “Jaho”
  • For the elderly people that Kizz featured in the video; Skales had also used elderly people in his song titled “Samba

Take a gander at the lyrics below.
