ABOUT THE SONG ONLY ONE BY AIRMOW AND LAUST FT MOSES STONE.
Only one is a love song whereby a guy shows interest in a particular lady who is beautiful and loving yet always treated unfairly by her boyfriend. This lady’s boyfriend doesn’t value her. He tells a lot of lies, cheats on her and maltreats her yet she still stays back in the relationship and pretends to be cheerful when she is actually cheerless. She hides her pain behind a smile.
The new guy who is interested in her, however, believes that her current boyfriend is undeserving of her love. He shows interest in being her lover promising to be nothing like her current boyfriend. He vows to cherish her, take adequate care, give her lot of attention, love her like the current boyfriend never loved her; if she allows him to be “the only one” in her life.

The song “Only one” has two verses. The vocabulary used in the lyrics is common to people. The chorus was taken thrice while the pre-chorus was taken twice. The song is melodious and the lyrics flow very well with the rhythm. The major instruments used is the drum and the keyboard. The song is so brief; just 2 minutes 38 seconds!

Take a gander at the lyrics below

LYRICS TO ONLY ONE BY AIRMOW AND LAUST FT MOSES STONE

VERSE 1
Baby, can we talk right here for a minute? (For a minute)
Don’t look like to me you’re so happy, yeah (You’re so happy, Yeah)
I know your man don’t treat you well (You well)
But still you try and he gives you hell (You hell)
Still you put on a smile so the world can’t tell, no oh oh
PRE CHORUS

I see you out here on your own
I know you need someone like me
To hold you down and build you up, baby
You tired of the games and all the lies
You need a new life, a better vibe
Come here and I’ll take you high
Let’s fly, let’s fly

CHORUS

Let me be your only one
Let me be your only one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
Let me be your only one
Let me be your only one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one

VERSE 2

Let me see, let me be that
Number one top guy on your list
Let me show you something new, girl
Your man never could love you like this
You ain’t use to none of this, girl
You’re my drug, my plug and my fix
Put you first, no questions ’bout it
Can’t break down, our bond is so thick

PRE CHORUS

I see you out here on your own
I know you need someone like me
To hold you down and build you up, baby
You tired of the games and all the lies
You need a new life, a better vibe
Come here and I’ll take you high
Let’s fly, let’s fly

BRIDGE

Yeah, the only one I love and I trusted
Always held me down through the hustle and bustle
Even when it got tough, always made things work
Never jumped ship, made it last and it worked
Now look, we made it at last
Always dreamed of bigger things, now the bad in the past
Humble our beginnings, now it’s time to live lavish
Gave you my heart, and you never damaged

CHORUS (2X)

Let me be your only one
Let me be your only one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
Let me be your only one
Let me be your only one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
One, one, one, one, one, one, one
