If you are familiar with the singer 9ice and his songs, you would agree with me that there is no song of his that is not accompanied with deep proverbs. Ayepo gan is no exception of such song with great proverbs. He is a real son of the soil; omo ibile.

ABOUT THE SONG AYEPO GAN BY 9ICE

Ayepo gan is a Yoruba word in Nigeria that means there is enough space.

The artiste used the song “Ayepo gan” to uplift people’s spirit especially those who are already downcast because of their current unpleasant situation. 9ice enjoins people not to be dismayed or give in to impossibility regardless how many times they have tried becoming successful in life and it seems it is not viable. He says people should keep doing their best till they get their desired breakthrough.

He also warns people who are envious of other people’s success to desist from such. He says, those who are hating on other’s success would never witness success. He advises people to live their lives and let others live. He also urges people to work towards attaining their success as there is enough space to accommodate all that want to be successful in life. There is enough space to be whatever/whoever one desires to be in life, and space to occupy the position one wants to occupy without having to envy or harm others. View in the line below..

“Eni binu ori, ko le ri fila de (If you are angry with the head, you will not see cap to wear) if you are envious of someone’s success, success would be far from you”

The song “Ayepo gan” has two verses. The pre-chorus and chorus were taken thrice. The lyrics are detailed, punchy and inspiring. 9ice looks to me like someone that has gone cal, not musically but character wise; or may be both..What ya think?

The major instrument used in the composition of this song include drum and piano. The artiste sang basically in Yoruba; a Nigerian Language. Kindly feel free to correct the lyrics via the comment box. Thanks y’all.

MEANING OF SOME PROVERBS

Eni binu ori, ko le ri fila de (If you are angry with the head, you will not see cap to wear) if you are envious of someone’s success, success would be far from you)

If you are never happy about people’s success, you also will not be successful in life.

Yema yo ada tori oku di e ka to ni suru (Don’t be quick to bring out a cutlass, cause very soon, things would be calm)

Don’t be too quick to attack or fight someone because of your predicament or some personal issues; just be calm, things will soon fall in place.
