I really don’t know why many people like Naira Marley’s songs or the songs he is featured in; well I want to assure you that my sister, Barrister Ayeni is not one of those people. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE SONG TINGASA BY C BLVCK FT NAIRA MARLEY
The word Tingasa is a slang; most likely a slang relating to sex. I want to assure you that even Naira Marley and C Bvck don’t have any particular meaning for the word “Tingasa”; they just probably formed the word off the cuff. Any idea what Tingasa means? Kindly fill us in via the comment box…
But the song in entirety is a sexual song. The song talks about girls in different countries and continents, and how they like to have fun “sexual fun” in particular with their men.
Naira Marley took both the chorus and the pre chorus thrice. The song has two verses. The first was taken by Naira Marley while the second was taken by C BLVCK. The artistes sang mostly in Yoruba, a Nigerian language. The lyrics to this song are extremely lewd; in fact, all the lines in the verse 1 taken by Naira Marley are lewd. Of course, you know the lyrics in the pre-chorus are lewd as well.
In Naira Marley’s verse; he was comparing different people and different professions in the world. The essence of the comparison was basically to emphasize the theme of the song where he says women differ when it comes to the style of fun they want to have sexually.
C BLVCK’s verse was just filled with slangs and made his verse meaningless. In fact, concerning his stage name “C BLVCK”; I really don’t know what he was thinking when he selected it; but I really wanna let him know that this is not an easy name for the populace to remember which is not too good for an upcoming artiste. Except people just change it to C BLACK.
“Tingasa” beat is melodious and very catchy. It is a fast tempo beat that people can groove to. The rhythm flows well. For the artistes, their vocals were quite bland and it was not clear. By the way, can someone help me with the last line of the pre-chorus cause I am really not sure of what Naira Marley said. View below…
