IG @ogefashblog.

Where exactly was I when this song dropped? What happened? To be honest, I have got no clue as to what really happened, that made me miss out on this particular song…This na better gbedu (As in this is a good song) from Nigerian Singer- Kcee ft Kenyan afro-pop band- Sauti Sol. The visual is clear and of high quality. Kudos to “Toking Drumz” pictures and director “Avalon Opke”. I have seen a couple of their works and they are very impressive I must say.

ABOUT THE SONG WINE FOR ME BY KCEE

To “Wine” in the context of this song means to move one’s body “the hips in particular” suggestively (as in sexually) to the rhythm.

The song “Wine for me” by Kcee ft Sauti Sol talks about a lady with big breasts and a big ass that can skillfully move her body so well in a suggestive manner to the rhythm. The lady in question wines better than other girls and this has made her cynosure of all eyes in the public, especially the “men.” Her ability to wine so well makes the men lose concentration as well as desire her sexually and want to pay to have a taste of her.

The pre-chorus “Baby carry up and down, ororo. Carry up and down, ororo” basically
means a lady with big breasts and a big ass can’t go unnoticed. It would always draw people’s attention.

To all our Kenyan readers, biko (please) , translate to English “Kwarabanko” as well as the other words Sauti Sol sang in Verse 2. Thank Ya..

The song “Wine for me” comes in two verses, Kcee took the first verse while Sauti sol took the second verse. The chorus and pre-chorus were taken twice by Kcee. The beat is mid-tempo and the artistes flowed well on the beat. There was also consistency in the style of rhythm. Their vocals are clear as well. They sang in pidgin and Swahili, I guess. The major instruments used include drum and piano.

However, at some point, the beat overshadowed the song, especially the intro and the outro, but all in all, this is really a nice song.

Take a gander at the lyrics below.
