(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW- ADAM AND EVE BY KOFI KINAATA “AH AH, HOW NA?”

IG @ogefashblog

Kofi Kanaata is a Ghanaian musician. He is another terrific rapper like Sarkodie. But wait o, what I saw at the 1 minute 15 seconds of the video though is perplexing…

Ballerinas (A female ballet dancer), did you notice what I noticed when she raised her leg? Is it supposed to be so? Just wondering though.

So about the song Adam and Eve by Kofi Kinaata

The song is about a heart broken lady who was about to commit suicide. However, Kofi Kinaata is able to get to the lady on time and finds a way to convince her on the reason she needs to stay alive and not commit suicide.

Infact, in the verse 2, Kofi Kinaata ends up promising the lady marriage. View below

VERSE 2

Nka track one; yebe start intro, mama your verse nabe end rap.

Track two; very romantic, me propose riena meti yes I do pe.

Track three; oya azonto, wobo wo disco wo fanti wadoko.

Na track four; yaya no gospel, wedding reception wansam wo wa chapel.

Na track five; Adult Music, jigijigi story eeh eeh. Different story; family story.

His ability to convince the lady not to commit suicide leaves her with a big grin.

Again, wait o, what does he mean in the line below…

“Na track four; yaya no gospel, wedding reception wansam wo wa chapel.”

Was Kofi indirectly bringing down gospel music?” What ya think?

I love this “Adam and Eve” video; it tells an interesting story and has a video that is able to keep viewers glued to their seat till the end of the video. The first time I saw the video, I watched with an undivided attention, and because of the interesting story line it has like I mentioned earlier; I immediately fell in love with the song.

Kofi has a very convincing vocal. He sang expressively to the lyrics. The artiste sang in Fante; Ghana language. I love the flow of rhythm. The song has three verses. The chorus was sung thrice. The major instrument used is the composition of the song include piano, sax and drum. The lyrics of the song are meaningful and are in array.

That last scene though, there should have been a change of costume even if they did not change in the other scenes. Na sha just one costume dem take start and dem take finish (As in, it is just one costume they used all through the shooting); somehow though…
