(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW: TOO LATE BY MR.P “MR.P SHOULD PLEASE JUST…”

IG@ogefashblog

As I was saying jare, Mr.P said he is not in a competition with anyone especially when people try to compare his songs with that of his twin- Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy; well if he is truly not in any competition, he should just stick to r&b; that is his strength. Goddamn it, he kills it more musically when he sings r&b.  When he sings on a slow tempo instrumental, his lyrics are more composed, his instrumentals are in agreement and his voice still melodious compared to fast- tempo instrumentals. Ah ah, talk about songs like “My way” “Wokie Wokie” “For my head” “Cool it down” amongst others; those ones are so interesting to the ears, unlike that ekelebe song or is it Karma, I just did not feel the song, ogini (what) is he ekelebeing self?. Even that “Ebeano” song is just there. (You can view the review of all the mentioned songs here http://www.ogefash.reviews)

Anyway, I love this song “I just yelled that” and it is on repeat for me.

But wait o, why does this video look like some kind of eye opener for fans all over the world who were asking questions about the reason the Psquare band disbanded, the family crisis, the involvement of the various wives in the split especially Peter’s, the fight between Mr.P  and his elder brother- Jude and so on.

If you watch the video very well, you would be able to tell that those two guys in the video acted as  Jude and Paul Okoye (aka Rudeboy) his twin. So was Mr.P trying to tell us that both his twin- Rudeboy and Elder brother- Jude Okoye hated his wife and also almost made him hate his wife?

Was Mr.P trying to tell us that both Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy and Jude Okoye pampered their wives while they wanted him to maltreat his own wife?

Was Mr.P also trying to say they hated his wife- Lola Omotayo Okoye? What ya really think? Kindly hint me

Really, after watching this video, I can tell that Paul Okoye is closer to his elder brother- Jude Okoye than he is to his twin- Peter Okoye; odikwa serious (As in, this is serious). It is even obvious, because after the group disbanded, Paul Okoye said he would still remain with his elder brother- Jude Okoye; now where is that Jude Okoye, I have got some questions to ask him…

Moving on, this song is what you call “a perfectly well-written the song” The lyrics are also in array and are very meaningful.

ABOUT THE SONG “TOO LATE” BY MR. P

The artiste used the song “Too late” to advice couples not to let  third-party (whether families or friends) meddle in their affairs as they could end up making matters worse. The song also kicks against domestic violence.

In the song Mr.P had a dream that he listened to the advice of his families and maltreated his wife which made his wife leave the house with the children. He woke up repentant and ready to make things right.

Too late by Mr.P is a slow-tempo song and I am feeling it day in day out. The major instruments used in the song include drums, piano, guitar; all these made the song so interesting to the ears. The artiste sang expressively to the lyrics. He was filled with emotions, his gestures tallied with the theme of the song. His vocal is also clear and appealing to the ears. The song has two verses. The pre chorus and chorus were taken twice each. I love the video, especially the part he was in the rain and pointed a gun to his head.

So, from this song, I can tell that he sang Oga police, Miss you die and so on.

I thought I should let you guyz know, he jumped when he hit his wife; did he really have to jump to do that? Just saying

Too Late Lesson

Don’t ever allow friends, family or third party to get involved in your marriage. They would come to you to advice you on how to control and treat your immediate family and go behind you and protect theirs. Be careful before it is “Too Late!” Build a fence around your own family. #I am wiser now. Stop domestic violence!! Watch my life and personal experience in my new song “Too late.”

Some of the most poisonous people come disguise as Family and Friends. Be careful before it’s Too Late by Mr.P. #IAmWiserNow! STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!

  1. Dope gbedu!
Thank God he amended his ways before it became too late for him. If not, that his beautiful wife- Lola would have left with their children.
