(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW- YOPE REMIX BY INNOSS B FT DIAMOND “ON REPEAT!”

IG @ogefashblog

This video by Congolese singer- Innoss B featuring Tanzanian singer- Diamond Platnumz indeed worth the over 12 million views it has garnered on YouTube ever since it was released on September 9th, 2019.

What! As in I watched this video and my eyes never left the screen. I was just playing the video repeatedly. It is on repeat for me.

The choreography has got me hooked to the song. Very funny and interesting dance steps; one that anyone who wants to learn how to dance can quickly learn from. But this Innoss B country get dance steps sha; I thought it was only in Nigeria that they love to form dance steps, but after watching this video, I duff cap for them.  The duo- Diamond and Platnumz really love dancing gan ni o.

I love the uniformity in their costume. The video was shot outdoor. The video is a combination of Afro Congo and Bongo Flava. I love the flow of rhythm; so tuneful. Their vocals were pleasing to the ears. And the instruments used complimented one another.

The song basically is a dance track that pushes people to rejoice or move their body regardless of whatever they may be facing. The song also calls on people who desire to live a good life and want to be extremely wealthy in life to be hardworking rather than sit in one place and wish money their way. “You want money, you must sweat for it as in work hard to get it and stop lazying about” that is what the artistes say.
