(+LYRICS+MEANING+TRANSLATION) MUSIC REVIEW- AMAASO BY WINNIE NWAGI AND VINKA “TERRIFIC COSTUME!”

IG@ogefashblog

I so love this song. I love the way they sang expressively to the beat. Beautiful video, costume, great lightning; interesting visual to watch.

So what is the song Amaaso about?

Amaaso is a love song by two female artistes from Uganda- Winnie Nnagi and Vinka. The two ladies sang in Swahili. The song talks about surrendering to that person you love. The artistes say the one they love belongs to them only and vice versa. They also say that the one they love is their eyes and their everything. They describe their lovers as exceptional and guys that set their hearts on fire. Whenever their lovers are not around them, they yearn for them severely.

Finally, the artistes say their lovers hold the keys to their hearts.

The song has three (3) verses. Vinka took the first verse while Winnie Nwagi took the second and third verses. The chorus was taken thrice and the hook twice.
