IG @ogefashblog

Risky by Davido features Popcaan. The song has a very catchy intro. The song comes in two verses, the first was taken by Davido while the second by Popcaan. The pre chorus and chorus were taken twice by Davido. The major instruments used in composing the song include the drums, shakers and piano.

Who is Popcaan? Hold on a minute let me ask Wiki

Right back; Wiki says Popcaan’s real names are Andre Hugh Sutherland. He is a Jamaican artist, singer and songwriter.

It was hard hearing Popcaan’s lyrics. His vocal was not clear enough; I strained my ears to hear his lyrics. Even his dialogue in the intro drama was not clear.

Meaning of some words

50/50 situation means equal chance of winning or taking possession; equally favourable and unfavourable, good and bad etc

Risky: Danger; a negative outcome or to get into an unpleasant/harmful situation

Bonafide: Authentic, True

What is the song Risky by Davido ft Popcaan about

The song talks about the artiste’s willingness to have a lady with good sex appeal; although they know that it is risky having her body that is having her body can harm them or get them into an unpleasant situation. The harm or risk in the context of this song may not necessarily mean “Disease” but engaging in a big fight with other people who also crave for her body. So, the artistes say they are willing to risk their lives just to have the lady they want.

But wait o,what does the word “chargie” mean or did I spell it wrong?

Davido used it in the Verse 1

“Big waist, fine face, ten days I don dey wait for you my chargie; for you my chargie”

Kindly fill me in via the comment box if you have an idea…Thankzzz
