(+LYRICS+TRANSLATION+MEANING) MUSIC REVIEW:MONALISA BY LYTA FT DAVIDO “THIS LYTA LOOKS LIKE

IG @ogefashblog.

Anytime I watch any visual Lyta is in, I see him as

someone that is camera shy; that is someone trying to avoid the camera. He needs to grab the camera and make it his friend, else he wont be able to go further in his music career; well except he wants to work behind the cameras.

About the music Monalisa by Lyta ft Davido…
The song is no doubt a love song to a lady called Monalisa.

The artistes-Lyta and Davido are in love with Monalisa althogh she is proving difficult to get. Monalisa is driving them crazy, so, they are not ready to give up on her until she says yes to them, even if it means waiting outside her door all day.

They vow to protect her and love her wholeheartedly.

The song has only one verse taken by Davido. The pre chorus, chorus and post chorus taken mostly by Lyta predominated the song. They were all taken twice.

Yanga means when someone is posing or proving difficult to get
Hold someone down means to have someone’s back or to protect someone.

The song is melodious but the video quality is quite low!
Take a gander at the lyrics below
