(+LYRICS+TRANSLATION+MEANING) MUSIC REVIEW: PUTA BY NAIRA MARLEY “THIS PUTA SONG MEANS GIRLS ARE PROSTITUTES” +THIS IS AN “IDI” AS IN “ASS” DISPLAY VIDEO

IG @ogefashblog

Are girls really prostitutes? The word Puta is

a spanish word that means “Whore.” So, if Naira Marley sang in the Chorus

“Feeling a la puta”
“Baby girl you are puta”

That means he is referring to girls as prostitutes especially those that use their big ass to control and seduce men. The artiste says a whore can’t ever get pregnant for him.

It may however not be all girls that he referred to as prostitutes, but those that are dirty, immoral and loose; those ladies that send lewd pictures to guys via social media; those that seduce men with their big ass and breast in order to get money from them as well as those that are picked by men in different vehicles for sexual aim. View some of the lines that show some girls live whorish lives.

“E e e egbami, awon omo Naija fe fi idi pami (Won fe fi idi pami) (Save me! Nigerian ladies want to use their ass to kill me)
Nigbami ti’n ba shi Insta idi ma ni (Idi ma ni) (At times, when I open my Instagram, what I see is ass)”

The song “Puta” doesn’t only talk about girls as prostitutes, it also talks about the wicked world human beings live in. Naira Marley says that it is only on earth that you will see human beings trying to hurt their fellow human beings.

Most of the lyrics to Puta are sexual just like his last song opotoyi. SEXUAL LINES

“Ma lo te idi gbabe nipple (Gbabe nipple) (Don’t press the ass and forget pressing the nipple)
“Yeah! Oh baby! Ma sa, gbori duro yo’di fun (Yo’di fun) (Oh baby, don’t run away, stay fixed and bring out your ass for him)
“Tori pe ara ti kun, tori pe ara mi wa lona (Tori pe ara mi wa lona) (Because my body is full; because my body is in the mood)
Just because you know that I want to s’owo kan (Mo fe se owo kan) (Just because you know I want to sex you once)”

I love the beat. The rhythm flows so well. Perhaps the reason I am in love with the song. The video though; hmmm, it is an idi (Ass) display video.

By the way, I have noticed something about Naira Marley which I am sure you must have noticed too. He just has a way of always including Olamide in his lyrics. The way he hypes Olamide ehn; it is not a ‘hia’ something.

“Baddosneh ti settle e (Settle e) (Baddosneh has settled it)”

Even Lil Kesh too must always include something about Olamide in his lyrics. I feel the trio belong to the same click; like a secret cactus “Naira Marley, Olamide, Lil Kesh.” “Zlatan”is about to join them while Adekunle has left. What ya think?

Mind you, I did not say they belong to egbe “gbeje gbeje o” or “egbe okuku”

Finally, Naira Marley in the song says he has his own caucus and they identify themselves whenever they hook up. He says people that are not one of them; should not dare come close.

Wondering

Why Naira Marley did his face like that at the 1 minute 4 seconds of the video? It was like the face of someone that wanted to cry

Take a gander at the lyrics below

  1. Naija musicians seem to have nothing else to sing about aside a lady’s bum and breast.
For that one that calls himself Naira Marley, he should better respect himself. Girls are not puta whatever; they are not prostitutes!
