This is a love song whereby Wizkid
talks about the kind of love he and his girlfriend- Adamma share. He says it is a special kind of love. He says the feelings he has for Adamma are so strong that he is not willing to ever leave her side. He hopes nothing would ever separate them.
The use of “ghetto love” may however mean that the artiste is in love with Adamma who is from a slum area or someone that is not up to his class. However, he has decided to settle for her irrespective of the difference in status and despite how much other ladies desire to have him because she drives him crazy.
After listening to this track, I was about saying “Ehen! So Wizkid did not say anything about sex with a lady in the song.” However, another look at the chorus, and I was proved wrong.
“Kolobi ko-ko-ko, kolobi ko-ko” which the artiste sang in the chorus may mean “To have sex.”
Meanwhile, Wizkid can like to sing about love, but he has never been seen with one particular lady that he ever professed love to. At least, we know about Cardi B and Offset, we also know about Davido and Chioma, so what about Wizkid?
Lastly, this song is melodious; but Wizkid should try using some other kind of beat as it seems Nigerians are getting tired of this particular style of music.
