Wowi! This is an action packed 2008 movie I must say. Although I am wondering how an escapee like Miles Jackson (Acted by Aidan Gillen) managed to plan the “12” rounds game in just two weeks, he must have been doing that with the help of other outsiders before he escaped from prison.
And about this guy in the picture below; he was damn so rude and pompous. I was not surprised when Fisher punched his mouth.
About the Movie 12 Rounds
Miles Jackson (Acted by Aidan Gillen) is a wanted notorious criminal whose girlfriend- Erica (Taylor Cole) was accidently knocked down by a vehicle when New Orleans Cop Danny Fisher (Acted by John Cena) painstakingly chased after them. Erica died on the spot while Miles was captured and locked up in the prison. Pained by Erica’s death, Miles finds a way to break out of prison with the sole purpose of going after the one who has caused Erica’s death as well as avenge her death.
So, who could Miles be after? Officer Fisher now Detective Fisher was who Miles was after. Miles wanting Detective Fisher to suffer the same thing he suffered after Erica’s death kidnapped Fisher’s Fiance- Molly Porter (Acted by Ashley Scott), and now, before Miles kills Molly, he wants Fisher to play his well-planned game; it is not the usual games like miles or male trap, monopoly or “make a twister” but a new game called 12 rounds.
Fisher must suffer 12 rigorous rounds of games to keep Molly alive. If he is still standing, as in, if he is still alive after the 12 rounds, he would win Molly back.
Would Detective Fisher be able to save Molly? Would he survive after these 12 rounds?
Round 1: Miles blows Fisher’s house and vehicle with all the content in them.
Round 2: Miles kidnaps Molly
Round 3: Fisher locates the place Miles asked him to pick his call in the next 15 minutes
Round 4: At the 10th floor of the New Orleans Fire department, he was able to grab two security boxes quickly, else he would have been knocked out.
Round 5: Two pounds of explosives are packed inside one of the boxes; in less than 7 minutes, the bomb would blow off, while the other box has the clue to the next round.
Round 6: Fisher and Willy are together in an elevator. In the next 60 seconds, the elevator would fall to the ground and it is just one person that would survive; either Fisher or Willy.
Round 7: Fisher met Miles in a bus that has 50/50 on it. In the bus, he saw Miles and his girlfriend Molly who had explosives all around her. Miles cuffs Fisher to the bus and then gives him the clue to round 8
Round 8: In an envelope containing 5 numbers, Miles instructs Fisher to choose a number wisely as it would lead him to the next round.
Round 9: Fisher is to stop a “907” Bus whose break failed and got out of control, else it would smash through the end of the nile and everything else within its part. He was able to stop the trolley.
Round 10: Miles condemns Fisher for going on with his own round. He tells him that if his friend Hank (Acted by Brian White) is able to take out Deluiso, then he will kill Hank in round 11
Round 11: Hank dies in an explosion at the Warehouse
Round 12: Fisher is able to save Molly
