(+LYRICS+TRANSLATION+MEANING) CAN’T LET YOU GO BY SARKODIE FT KING PROMISE “EXTREMELY GREAT TUNE!”

IG @ogefashblog

I love this song. I have always wanted to talk about it on Ogefash blog, which was the reason I asked a Ghanaian friend of mine to help me with the lyrics, but she actually shunned me, so I had to put the song aside because of my inability to write out the lyrics by the Ghanaian super star. But thanks to some music players like VLC that you can always decrease the speed of a song. So when  I stumbled on the song again, I just had to jump on it. Feel free to correct the lyrics and interpret them via the comment box

About the song “Can’t let you go”. Like you know, when you say you are not willing to let go, that means you are not willing to break away from the person. That is, you intend to spend eternity with the person because that person is the true “One” that you have been searching for. That person is extraordinary.

The song “Can’t let you go” by Ghanaian rapper- Sarkodie ft King Promise is a love song dedicated to Sarkodie’s wife- Tracy Owusu Addo who followed the artiste through thick and thin as in both good and bad times. She says she is exciting to be with and has an enticing body.  Sarkodie says Tracy is a rare-gem and a rare gem like her deserves all the good things in life. Sarkodie says he can’t ever let her go from his heart.  His feelings for Tracy are strong and he has never felt that way for any lady before.

I really love the vocals of King Promise and Sarkodie; extremely appealing!

The music video for the song shows clips from his wedding  scenes which had in attendance lots of celebrities like Mr.P, Julliet Ibrahim amongst others
