IG @ogefashblog

The song “Unbelievable”by “Why don’t we” is quiteself explanatory. Before we talk about the meaning of the song, let’s first find out what unbelievable means.

The word unbelievable means something that is difficult to believe, unthinkable, impossible, hard to swallow and so on.

Unbelievable is a love song no song.In the song, the artistes have always fantasized about having a particular lady. But one day, their fantasies turned to reality when the “one” they always fantasized about became so intimate with  them.  They were loved up, holding hands as well as making love. Hence, the reason the artiste sang ‘Unbelievable” is because it is hard for them to believe that a lady who they have always fantasized about has now become their lover.

“Unbelievable, That you were in my heart, you were in my head
Now you’re waking up here in my bed”

I really love their modulation @ the 2 minutes 53 seconds of the song “Beeeeddddddd!”

VERSE 1

Hey, how did we, how did we
How did we end up at your place?
With my hands, with my hands
With my hands around your waist
Like you’re too cool-cool
I don’t believe that it’s true, still

Your taste
I could drink, I could drink
I could drink a whole damn case
Every drip, every drip
Couldn’t let you go to waste
When you’re making those moves, hey
I don’t know what to do, yeah

PRE CHORUS

If it’s all a dream, don’t wake up
‘Cause I got your body right here next to me
Just wait up
Gotta check myself ’cause I just can’t believe
Hey-oh
That you were in my heart, you were in my head
Now you’re waking up here in my bed

CHORUS

Unbelievable, yeah
Unbelievable, yeah
Unbelievable, yeah
Unbelievable, you are
Unbelievable, it’s
Unbelievable
That you were in my heart, you were in my head
Now you’re waking up here in my bed
