Chief Beecroft (Acted by Taiwo Obileye) is one wealthy man you can call “Father Christmas” as he is so open handed. His generosity is not limited to his family alone but extends to his maids and outsiders as well.
His sudden death however brings out to the open to his family his amorous lifestyle.
Like Chief Beecroft knew death was beckoning on him, the Chief in order to make amends for his wrongs, through his “Will” and the “Must Obeyed rules” finds a way to unite his legal wife- Lady K/Kemi (Acted by Joke Silva) , concubines and all his children together who do not know one another. Will the wives and children of Chief Daddy obey the dead man’s rules? Find out in the plot…
Madam Pat (Acted by Patience Ozokwo) slaps the gateman for sleeping while on duty post. The gardener while watching as the gateman is being quarried, is seen watering the statue instead of the flowers. When Madam Pat gives him a smirking look he does the right thing.
LadyK/ Kemi (Acted by Joke Silva) calls Madam Pat to find out if she already carried out the tasks given to her. She also asks her if her only child and son- Femi Beecroft (Acted by Falz) is back from the studio session.
Femi Beecroft (Acted by Falz) is in the studio churning out lyrics on the beat. His girlfriend- Sandra (Acted by Beverly Osu) is with him cheering him up. While rehearsing, a famous musician Mr. X (Acted by M.I) walks in and both Sandra and Femi Beecroft are glad to see a big musician. Beecroft walks up to Mr.X thinking he is the reason he is in the studio, but Mr. X who feels he is a awful singer tells him he knows nothing about him or his song that he is in the studio for something else. When Mr.X is about leaving the studio, he tells Femi to work on himself for about three years 17 months before thinking about doing music. Mr.X’s remark about Femi’s song makes him depressed. Femi finds a way to hide this from his girlfriend- Sandra, instead he lies to her that Mr. X loves his tune and wants to do a remix with him. His excited girlfriend quickly reminds him about the car he promised to get her when he gets the first music deal.
Chief Daddy (Acted by Taiwo Obileye) is back home and he is dining. Madam Pat reminds him that he asked every member of the family to write all they want for Christmas. Just when she is about to remind him of Lady K’s needs, he gets a notification on the release of his son’s video cutting Madam Pat short of whatever she has to say. Next, a call comes in from one of his concubines who tells him that his son is coming over. He is excited as he wants him to meet every member of the family.
The driver – Chief Donatus (Acted by Nkem Owoh) is on the phone where he tells the person on the other side of the phone not to refer to Chief Daddy as ordinary billionaire but a multi-billionaire because he asked that they should all write what they need for Christmas to which he requested a duplex and the chief daddy did not object.
Madam Pat is going to the supermarket to buy all Lady K’s needs. She asks the chauffeur- Donatus to take her but he refuses saying he only drives Chief daddy. As Madam pat turns her back on him to go and report him to Chief Daddy, Donatus also follows her so can also complain about her. As both Madam Pat and Chaffeaur Donatus get to the sitting room to complain, they find out that he is mum after all their complains. When his fork falls off his hand they realize that something tragic already happened. They get the first aid box to treat him but they are unable to do anything, by now all the other maids are already aware of what is happening. Madam Pat afterwards gets Chief Daddy’s phone to call Dr. Ballad who makes a turn back to Chief Daddy’s house. The Dr after examining Chief Daddy tells them he is dead.
Tinu and Beni Beecroft (Acted by Funke Akindele and Kate henshaw) are at their fabric shop. After selling an expensive fabric to a customer through some marketing tricks, they proceed to buy a necklace worth 3,000 dollars for themselves. Just then, Chauffeur Donatus calls Beni and Tinu Beecroft to inform them about their father’s demise.
Lady K walks in and hears the news about her husband’s demise. She is unpleased that no one bordered to call her to inform her. Lady K’s son- Femi Beecroft also returns from the studio session only to hear that his dad is no more. Chief Daddy’s sister- Aunty joke (Acted by Rachael Oniga) also joins them in the apartment after hearing the news.
Meanwhile, Ajoke, Tinu and Beni are already discussing Chief Daddy’s will. Lady K is ashamed of them, but they shun her. Ajoke tells Lady K that she should watch how she talks to her. Away from the will, Ajoke says they will need to give Chief Daddy a befitting burial which requires lots of money. Femi joins them and reminds them that he is the only son of Chief Daddy so all Chief Daddy’s money belongs to him. He tells his mum that when he inherits everything, she should tell them to shut up. But they quiet him and he and his mum soon leave the sitting room.
Meanwhile, Nike (Acted by Shaffy Bello) who is one of the Chief Daddy’s concubines gets a call from Lawyer Tega Castle (Acted by Richard Mofe Damijo). Tega informs her about Chief Daddy’s demise. Lawyer Tega also calls another of his concubine Ekanam (Acted by Ini Edo) to inform her about Chief Daddy’s demise. Lawyer Tega calls another of his concubine- Justina (Acted by Linda Ejiofor) to tell her about Chief Daddy’s demise and that he would be reading his will which makes her leave all she is doing.
While on the phone, Femi is bragging about his daddy’s billions which he feels he now owns all because he his the only son. He plans to spend the billions on his music career. He joins his mum and the rest of the family members in the sitting room where they talk about how to bury chief Daddy in three months’ time. As they plan, they exclude Lady K’s decision in their plan. Lady K goes to welcome Lawyer Tega Castle and his wife Remi Castle (Acted by Dakore Egbuson Akande). Tega gets an emergency call to which he urgently attends to leaving his wife to cheer the meeting with the Beecroft. Remi is however is reluctant to stay with the Beecroft family because she feels they act bizarre.
Remi Castle while trying to start a convsersation with the Beecroft family, Chief Daddy’s concubine- Nike and daughter walk in on them. This infuriates Lady K who threatens to leave if Nike and daughter do not leave. Why they argue about leaving or not, another Chief Daddy’s concubine- Ekanem (Acted by Ini Ed) turns up with her twin boys and this leaves them dazed. Nike soon shows Lady K her certificate of marriage to prove that she is married to Chief Daddy while Ekanem tells them to look at the children’s resemblance to verify if she really had a thing with Chief daddy or not. In the troubled atmosphere, another mistress Justina (Acted by Linda Ejiofor) walks in on them and introduces herself as Chief Daddy’s favourite. Also, another son- a footballer- Damilare Kofi Mensah ( Acted by Mawuli Govor) who is unaware of his dad’s demise walks in and finds out that his daddy has passed away. Femi Beecroft who thinks he is the first son is saddened when he hears that Damilare is 27 years old making him two years older.
Finally, Remi reads out the laid down rules of late Chief Daddy before the will. He asks them to forgive him for his missteps. He says if there is any rancour at the funeral, his will will not be read until after 70 years. He says if there is no rancor or fight during his funeral, then they should read his will. He assigns responsibilities to people regarding his funeral. To event planning, catering and matters pertaining to Asoebi , he gives to Tinu and Teni Beecroft; Kemi is to handle matters pertaining to the church; Femi is to handle protocols for dignitaries; Nike is to make uniform for all the orphanage kids; Ekanem is to organize all relating to music at the party; Justina is to handle anything relating to publicity, Ireti (Acted by Zainab Balogun) is to offer services to any of the bereaved who may need it, and Damilare should keep the family peaceful. The chauffer Donatus is in charge of logistics while Madam Pat is to take care of the house and undertakers’ services. Ajoke is to prepare a trust fund for the orphanage and also take care of all the activities to be undertaken by the orphanage at his funeral. Chief Daddy further implores that it should only be a family gathering with no outsiders. He also says in the instructions that they should not mourn for him, rather, they should celebrate his life.
After reading his instructions, Femi says he wants to be incharge of music else he will wreck the party but they all shun him. Just then, the whole family argue about the colour the Asoebi should be. They also argue about something else which makes Ajoke decide to leave the room. Damilare and Ireti try to make everywhere peaceful but it doesn’t work out. Soon, a pastor from Lady K’s church walks in to pray, but they all walk out in anger.
Both Damilare and Ireti try to preach peace to the family, so they knock on individual’s door, but they shun them.
Femi Beecroft shows his mum howfar he has gone with the task bequeathed to him during the funeral but his mum shows apathy and complains about his manner of dialogue. Both Tinu and Teni refuse to beg LadyK despite Ajoke’s plea so they do not miss out in the will. She asks them to pad their budget.
Justina tries to make friends with Ekanem and Nike but they belittle her which makes her insult them also. They chase her out but consider her advice on budget padding.
They all submit their budget to the lawyer. They are all excited about the budget padding. They all go about achieving the roles given to them.
Madam Pat’s daughter- Adaora (Acted by Beverly Naya) comes to visit her mother. Damilare immediately falls in love wih her. They both chat into the night.
The castles are with the Beecroft family trying to calm situation as they want to tear themselves. The news come on board and the newscaster talks about Chief Daddy, his will and benovelence. The Castles apologize to the Beecroft for the information leak by one of the doemestic staff who already hasbeen sacked by the firm.
Justina calls her friends telling them to show up early. She sees both Damilare and Adaora and she is unhappy about their bonding.
Femi begs Ekanem who is in charge of music at the funeral to allow him perform on that day, she agrees on the condition that he will only mention her name while performing.
Chief is laid to rest while they all proceed to the reception. At the reception the wives come in their entourage all in the colour of attire they feel is the late Chief Daddy’s best colour. As Femi Beecroft performs on stage courtesy Ekeanam, he acknowledges only her and showers praises on her ignoring the other member o his family including his mummy.
All the wives and entourage come out and the Mc and all musicians seem to be hailing only Ekanem. Femi tells the MC (Acted by Uti Nwachukwu) to call his mum but he shuns him. Lady K soon gets angry when they give her no recognition. She moves to where the MC is and snatches the microphone from him. She voices out against them for tossing her aside like a used rag. They all argue and an end comes to the reception.
They are all feeling regretful for their actions. Justina reveals to Ekanem that Chief Daddy adopted her as his daughter but only played mute about the relationship rumor flying round as it made her more famous. Meanwhile Damilare and Adaora are together, he is so angry about the fight despite the instructions of Chief Daddy.
The castles visit again to read the will. Chief Daddy reveals that the essence is to get them together and start something new. He says that with the situation he created, it was impossible to get 100% peace. He gives all of them millions of naira and properties as well in his will and they are all glad.
Just then, bankers from keystone bank come in to talk to them about “Initial Public Offering- IPO,” that the company wants to embark on. In essence, all that they inherited will be inaccessible till the project is completed bringing to glare that the man had left them with no inheritance. Regardless of the news, they all unite for the first time as family.
A lady walks into the chief daddy’s compound and looks round. Chauffeur Donatus asks who she is but no reply follows the question.
