While Emmanuel struggled for life, his friends mocked him and refused to help because he was finer and richer than them. Meanwhile, it was Emmanuel that paid their swimming fees and even bought snacks and drinks for them.

Oh! What a great loss! A promising child end up dead because of the envy of his peers. Those peers succeeded in turning the joy of his parents into sorrow, but I pray God consoles them. May Emmanuel Balogun’s soul rest in peace.
For his so- called three friends, (remember the end result of Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus, don’t let me judge sha) who left their friend to die untimely, I leave their judgment in the hands of arinu rode, olumo okan eda gbogbo. They should remember that what a man soeth, he shall reap; elese o le lo lai je iya. They can never get mercy except they ask for forgiveness of sins and give their life to Christ.
To all parents, please train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. If they had done the celebration in the church or among Godly ones, he would not have died.

It is indeed a sad period for the family of Emmanuel Balogun, may God console them.
But how can envy of friends lead to the death of an handsome and promising child like Emmanuel? How did we get so heartless in Nigeria? Why don’t we value human lives in this country?
