Last week, we reviewed one of “Colgate” toothpaste adverts titled the “Close talker”. This week, we are also looking at “Colgate” toothpaste’s advert but a different one. The manufacturers of Colgate toothpaste used a narrative method to pass across their message to consumers.

New Colgate total! For whole mouth health

MESSAGE IN THE ADVERT

Colgate Total toothpaste neutralizes bad breath. It leaves the mouth healthier breaking through the teeth, cheeks, tongue and gums.

SUMMARY OF THE ADVERT

A lady highlighted the benefits of using Colgate total toothpaste which was backed up with interesting visuals.

THE REVIEW

The advert is concise and simple to understand. I could hardly spot any flaw not in the lady’s narration or the entire advert. I love the fact that they used images to back up  their words which made the advert more interesting to watch. To be honest, it would have been uninteresting if they did not.

The advert was  shot in a way that would push customers to go buy Colgate toothpaste, in terms of the display of pictures not necessarily in the narrator’s tone as she was not too convincing.

REMARK

Simple advert backed up with interesting visuals

DURATION: 30 Seconds

SOUND
