This is one song that has definitely come to stay “for long” on airwaves despite the fact that the video was released over two months ago. So, one may ask, what exactly is still making the song one of the most played even more played than some new tracks by top artistes. Well, that we shall find out in a jiffy. THE REVIEW
There has got to be something keeping “Let u love me” by Rita Ora on airwaves aside the fact that Rita put true emotion into the song. Perhaps, it is her body gestures, the lyrics or the tune or her soulful and alluring vocal; it should be all of them.
Lyrically, the song comes in two verses. The pre-chorus was taken twice while the chorus was sung thrice. The lyric is meaningful and partly detailed. We don’t really know what her fears are. She says she wishes she could let him love her but there is something holding her back. So what are her fears exactly?
Rita herself doesn’t know what the problem is; all she knows is that she messes up things when the guy shows her affection.

BREAKDOWN OF THE SONG
In the verse 1, “I should have stayed with you last night” Rita Ora is attracted to a cute guy she meers at the club for the first time. She uses all body gestures to make the guy notice her, which he finally does; even though she later finds a way to stay away from him after the guy falls deeply for her. She is feeling insecure; perhaps she is unsure of her feelings for the guy or his feelings for her.
In the Pre-chorus, “So I wanna stay the whole night” the artiste says she longs for the guy’s presence around her; she really wants to be around the guy, lie on the same bed with him, have wild sex with him till the next morning and create a space for him in her heart. But then, no matter how hard she tries to let the guy love her or get close to her, she still feels insecure, so she ends up ruining everything and staying away from him.
In the chorus, “I wish that I could let you love” the artiste desires to be shown affection by the guy although she keeps pulling away from him. Perhaps, she is afraid that her intense feeling for a guy she barely knows anything about is too overwhelming and may becloud her true sense of reasoning.
In the verse 2, “Every time it gets so real” the artiste says at the point she and the guy are bonding so well, her insecurity takes the better part of her and makes her almost ruin it. She again finds a way to avoid him. And when she wants to apologize for her ill actions/misbehavior, she finds herself not apologizing.

This is no doubt a love song about a lady- “Rita Ora who is attracted to a young chap she meets at the club for the first time. She finds a way to make the guy notice her using all body signals as well as giving him a seductive lingering look. The guy finally notices her and falls for her tactics. He also starts getting attracted to her and longs for her. They get close to each other at the club and start having fun. However, Rita Ora because of her insecurity tries to assuage whatever he may feel for her. Anytime they are bonding so well, she finds a way to ruin it. Perhaps, she is unsure of his intense feeling for her and vice versa

Does the video really complement the track? Yeah it does! The atmosphere is filled with love and desire to be with one’s significant other. Even though Rita Ora was attracted to the guy and wanted to stay with him, she was unable to stay with him. Rita Ora was quite expressive as she sang the lyrics..
