THROWBACK MOVIE- CAREER WOMAN

THROWBACK MOVIE: CAREER WOMAN

Anita (Jackie Appiah) was one of the most talked about successful female lawyers in town. She was known for always winning every case brought to her desk. She was one lawyer other lawyers feared to be on the same case with because they know she would always crush them. She was highly respected. She was such a great icon in her field that people not only wanted to be like her or named their children after her, but also wanted her to handle  all their legal matters.

Anita agreed with her mum’s decision to become a lawyer, after what she, her sister- Queen and mother went through in the hands of relatives who forcefully took away their father’s property after his death and leaving them with nothing. After their bitter experience, Anita placed no one above her first family;  not even her husband or daughter.

Anita was married to Richard (Fredrick Leonard), a kind of man every lady would love to have. He was loving, understanding, romantic, and above all stood by her. He never for once got intimidated by her successful career. Little wonder Anita’s sister-Queen (Calista Okoronkwo) wanted her man to also be exactly like Richard. Queen eventually started lusting after him. When Richard wouldn’t fall into Queen’s seduction tactics, she lied that Richard raped her. What happened next? Barrister Anita wouldn’t hear her husband’s side of the story, she just had to sue him. She was even the prosecuting attorney. Find out more here….
