Will the assassins’ carryout the missions? Find out in the plot
PLOT
An assassin Metzger (MARTIN COMPSTON) enters the house of the Hattos (Martin Hatto (EBEN YOUNG), Pamela Hatto (STEPHANIE DOOLEY), the maid and the dog) in the evening, and kills the entire family after which he burns down the house
Ella Hatto (ODEYA RUSH) is with her friend oblivious of what has befallen her family. She secretly smokes a cigar and tells her friend that she is going out with her boyfriend that evening.
Ella (ODEYA RUSH) sneaks out of the school building to see her boyfriend in a club while an assassin- Lucas (SAM WORTHINGTON) trails her. Lucas realizes that there are more assassins out there waiting to kill Ella. He immediately grabs her and forces her to follow him. A shootout ensues between Lucas and other assassins. Lucas tells Ella that her life is in danger but Ella’s boyfriend doesn’t believe Lucas and tells Ella not to believe him as well. Both Ella and her boyfriend try to find safety away from Lucas and whoever is after her. Meanwhile, Lucas gets a message from his senders telling him to either kill Ella or risk losing his family. Lucas immediately goes looking for Ella again till he is able to find her. Ella attempts calling the police but Lucas tells her that a substantial number of the police also want her dead. Meanwhile Ella is left with no choice than to leave her boyfriend behind and go with Lucas.
In order to protect Ella from the other assassins, Lucas locks Ella in the trunk of the car while they both have a little chat. Ella tells Lucas how much she hates her daddy- Martin Hatto (EBEN YOUNG) and her step mum- Pamela Hatto (STEPHANIE DOOLEY) who doesn’t want her around.
Richard Addison’s young son- William is playing dart, but he is not shooting the arrow on the right spot. So, his father tells him to keep practising till he gets it. Meanwhile, an Interpol agent- Banks (AMY LANDECKER) comes to brief Richard on the latest on Lucas and Ella. Richard is not happy that one of the Hattos- Ella is still alive and that Lucas did not carry out the mission. Richard orders Banks to look for Lucas and Ella Hatto as well as find a way to get his money back.
Lucas is unable to execute the mission because Ella reminds him so much of his little daughter who he is not in communication with. Richard calls Lucas reminding him that Martin Hattos stole his money, so the punishment is death for his entire family which includes Ella Hatto. Lucas tries to convince Richard to let off Ella, since he has killed the real culprit, but Richard is not ready to let go, he is not ready to let go or make, not even a leaf from the Hatto family to see the break of dawn. Richard tells Lucas to say a prayer for Ella and then kill her.
Lucas finally opens the trunk of the car for Ella to come out; they are both in secluded vicinity. Ella excuses herself to the bathroom. She finds a phone and quickly calls her dad’s number. The Interpol agent- Banks, picks it up. Banks realizes it’s Ella Hattos, and knowing fully well that Lucas is protecting her, she taints his personality and tells Ella to run away from him that he is an hired assassin. This terrifies Ella as she tries to run away from Lucas, but he pins her down with his gun after which he lets her go.
Ella runs through the woods until she is able to locate a phone booth. She tries making a call but Lucas shows up promising not to hurt her. Ella tells Lucas that she wants to call her daddy, but Lucas lets her know that her family is dead. He tells Ella that his refusal to kill her has made both of them become the hunted.
Lucas stops at a restaurant to buy food for them, but Ella has no appetite to eat. Lucas is about to take a drink when a bullet hits the bottle and shatters it. Lucas realizes that there are Richard’s men around the restaurant. There is again another shoot out. A bullet hits Lucas on his lap which makes him unsteady. The shootout continues till Lucas defeats them all and then drives off with Ella.
Ella and Lucas are waiting for Lucas’s friend- Dani (VERONICA ECHEGUI) to join her on the train. A police officer passes them by and asks for their means of identification. Lucas shows his own while Ella is unable to show hers, but she is able to find an excuse for the officer.
Richard is having a round table discussion with some clients and he talks about his relationship with the late Martin Hatto. Richard tells them that the late Martin was his attorney till his death. His son- William seeing how busy his daddy is quickly enters his room to video chat his mum, but, he immediately closes his laptop as soon as he hears his dad open the door. Richard enters his room and suspects he has been chatting with his mum. He warns him about speaking to his mother making William to think his mum is a whore.
Dani and Lucas hook up in the train while she treats his injury. Ella excuses them and takes a walk. Dani locates Ella and advices her to run away from Lucas after accusing her of either looking for a lover or a daddy. She gives her money to get off the station and advises her not to look back. Dani returns to Lucas and tries to inject him with a deadly substance. Lucas discovers that Dani is up to something amiss and he confronts her. She confesses that a price has been placed on his head by Richard. Lucas quickly goes to look for Ella and sees
Metzger (MARTIN COMPSTON). There is a gun battle between them.
Both Lucas and Ella are alone. Ella asks Lucas how he actually kills people, trying to challenge him for always collecting money to kill people. Lucas shows her how to load the bullets and then pull the trigger. With the gun still in Ella’s hand, Lucas makes her point the gun to his chest, while Ella stirs at him in astonishment
Lucas takes Ella to another house where there are lots of pictures of his daughter whom according to him he has never met. Lucas is a drug addict, so he immediately enters a room to take some drugs leaving Ella in the sitting room. Ella enters the room and finds Lucas injecting drugs on his body which immediately puts her off.
Lucas is groaning in pain while Ella turns on the computer and searches for Richard Addison. He sees his foundation and the address (Addison International foundation). She meets Lucas and tells him she is hiring him to kill Richard since he is responsible for her father’s death. Ella tells him that she has money and would pay him. But Lucas laughs it off. Not getting a desired answer from him, Ella picks up Lucas’s gun and goes to Addison’s office. They notify Richard that Ella is in the office. Richard goes to see Ella but from a distance, but Ella is unable to pull the trigger when she sights him. Ella tries to run away but she is surrounded by the police.
At the station, the police interrogate Ella since she was found with a loaded weapon. She tells the officer that Richard is responsible for her daddy’s death.
Banks calls Richard to tell him that the money Martin Hatto stole from him is in his daughter’s savings account. Richard tells Banks to try all means to get his money.
Richard frees Ella with some hidden intention. He doesn’t press charges against Ella, so the policemen free her, but under the custody of Banks. Banks picks Ella from the station promising to keep her safe. While on the drive way, banks ask Ella to fill in all the details of bank account. Ella notices that Banks is not taking her to the airport like she promised but to another direction.
Richard again sends some people to kill Lucas but he kills them instead including his friend Dani
Richard calls Lucas to let him know that he has Ella and he is no longer important to him.
There is a big event going down at Richard’s place. Banks tells Richard that Ella doesn’t want to give up the account information. This infuriates Richard who decides to handle the matter himself. Lucas is at Richard’s place. He gets to where Richard is and points a gun at him. Richard takes him to the basement where Ella is. There is a shootout, William shoots an arrow at his father, and Metzger shoots Ella, while Ella gathers some strength to kill Richard herself.
Ella is now well and hearty; she visits her daddy’s tomb to pay homage. Lucas calls her to check on her, and she asks him if he has gone to visit his daughter and he promises to visit soon. Meanwhile, Lucas while on the phone call with Ella, is a few distance away from his family’s house. As soon as he drops the call, he goes to see his family.
