EVEN IF THE PASTORS BEAT BURNA BOY, GOD WOULD BE HAPPY…

LETTER TO BURNA BOY

BURNA BOY AKA DAMINI OGULU IF PASTORS BEAT YOU, EVEN GOD WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THEM, AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT PHYSICAL BEATING LIKE YOURS. I MEAN SPIRITUAL BEATING WHICH SIMPLY MEANS “HOT PRAYERS”.

WHEN ONE SEES YOU IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YOU ARE PROUD, PRAYER-LESS- YOU CAN’T EVEN BE CALLED A CHRISTIAN NOT TO TALK OF A CHILD OF GOD; I DON’T NEED A SOOTHSAYER TO TELL ME THAT.

IF I MAY ASK YOU, WHEN DID YOU GO TO CHURCH LAST FOR YOU TO SPEAK SUCH WORDS.

YOU LIVE YOUR LIFE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW, LIKE THERE IS NO CREATOR. YOU THINK YOUR REASON OF BEING ALIVE IS BY YOUR POWER. DO I NEED TO REMIND YOU ABOUT MANY MUSICIANS, ACTORS, COMEDIANS THAT ARE ALREADY SIX FEET, BUT GOD SPARED YOUR LIFE MAKING YOU SEE EVERY DAY, AND YOU OPENED YOUR MOUTH TO SAY ‘’YOU DISLIKE PASTORS, PREACHERS AND GOD WOULD BE HAPPY IF YOU BEAT THEM”. YOU DIDN’T EVEN SAY “MOST OR SOME’ YOU SAID “PASTORS” WHICH TO ME MEANS ALL.

I DON’T KNOW WHAT EXACTLY IS WRONG WITH MOST MUSICIANS IN NIGERIA (EVEN SOME BROADCASTERS,INFACT MOST PUBLIC FIGURES ARE LIKE THAT TOO), THEY JUST LIKE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES LIKE THEY ARE NOT PART OF THIS PLANET, THAT IS , LIKE THEY ARE MORE THAN THIS PLANET AND BELONG TO ANOTHER PLANET. THEY ACT LIKE THEY HAVE ALL THE POWERS. THEY LIKE TO ACT MIGHTIER THAN THE MIGHTY ONE HIMSELF. IF YOU LOOK AT MOST MUSICIANS, THEY LIVE SINFUL LIVES, SOME OF THEM DON’T EVEN CARE AGAIN, THE GODLY ONES HAVE BECOME UNGODLY, BUT AT THE END, WHEN THEY INTERVIEW THEM, THEY WOULD BE CLAIMING TO KNOW GOD. ANYWAY, THE BIBLE SAID IT IN SECOND TIMOTHY THREE: FIVE…

SO BACK TO BURNA BOY SPECIFICALLY, “ NWATA OBELE NE ZUZUGARI ” BECAUSE GOD HAS GIVEN YOU FAME AND MONEY, YOU FEEL YOU SHOULD INSULT PASTORS. PERHAPS, THE PASTOR PROBABLY TOLD YOUR GIRLFRIENDS NOT TO COMMIT FORNICATION- I MEAN WHAT COULD WARRANT SUCH HEINOUS AND MISLEADING POST.

NO ONE IS PERFECT. THE LAST TIME I CHECKED, PASTORS ARE HUMAN BEINGS AS WELL.WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT IS THAT THEY HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT FROM MEN LIKE YOU BURNA BOY. NA FLESH DEM GET, WE ALL ARE PRAYING TO OVERCOME TEMPTATIONS IN THIS HARSH WORLD, INCLUDING PASTORS. PASTORS ARE NOT ANGELS. THEY CAN HAVE FLAWS OR CAN BE FLAWLESS, SO WHEN YOU SEE ANY WITH FLAWS, KNOW THAT HE HAS MADE THE TEMPTATIONS OF THE WORLD TO OVERCOME HIM, SO YOU PRAY FOR SUCH PERSON, AND IF HE REFUSES TO REPENT, DARE TO CALL THE NAME OF SUCH PASTOR, NOT BY GENERALIZING.

SO, DEAR BURNER BOY, AGAIN, IF A PASTOR OR ANY PREACHER HAS OFFENDED YOU, DARE TO CALL THE PASTOR OR PREACHER’S NAME AND SAY WHAT THE OFFENCE IS, NOT POST THAT YOU WILL BEAT PASTORS. INFACT, IF I MAY ASK YOU, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PASTORS WE HAVE IN THE WORLD- LET’S START FROM LAGOS TO ALL THE STATES IN NIGERIA, OKAY LET’S DO IT BY CONTINENTS- AFRICA, ASIA, NORTH AMERICA, SOUTH AMERICA, EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, ANTARTICA. YOU NOW SAID YOU WOULD BEAT PASTORS, AHAH “ENI IBERU OLORUN O!”

IT IS OBVIOUS YOU WOULD BE A WOMAN BEATER. ‘YOU THINK SAY BECAUSE YOU GET BODY’, YOU B GREAT FIGHTER ABI? OYA GO AND FIGHT MICHAEL JAI WHITE NA, SEBI U DEY PROVE SAY U GET MUSCLE.

THE MOST ANNOYING THING IS THAT SOME PEOPLE EVEN NOW HAVE THE GUTS TO LOVE AND RE-TWEET THAT YOUR POST. ‘UWA EMEBIE’. SEE, I KNOW YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN, BUT ASK GOD TO SAVE YOU AND THEN FORGIVE YOU, AND THEN RETRACT THOSE YOUR WORDS, BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO HEAVY. MY ADVICE FOR YOU, AND I HOPE YOU LISTEN. I KNOW YOU WOULD LISTEN, BECAUSE I BELIEVE THERE IS STILL THE GOOD/GODLY BURNA BOY AKA DAMINI OGULU IN YOU, JUST LIKE THE WAY YOUR FACE LOOKS IN THE PICTURE BELOW. GOD BE WITH YOU.
