WHAT IS THE SONG “INTERESTING” BY DR.SID FT DONJAZZY ABOUT

“Interesting” is a song by Mavin artiste “Dr. Sid” and he featured the CEO of Mavin record – Don Jazzy. It’s been a while though since Dr. Sid released any song. Infact, before his marriage collapsed; that union did not see Dr.Sid release any track. One would wonder if he was going through some kind of depression or there was no music support from his ‘now’ ex-wife. What y’all think?

Well, whatever you think is your opinion. Dr. Sid however decided to clean his house after his wife left him (Phew! I really hate marriage failure). While cleaning, he found beside his computer, an unreleased music. The song “interesting” I am sure is one of the unreleased songs he found and decided to share with the whole world. This may just be his comeback into the music scene, and for good.

NOW WHAT IS THE SONG “INTERESTING” REALLY ALL ABOUT?

I feel this song is self explanatory already. The word interesting is used to describe something that is fascinating, noteworthy, incredible, remarkable and basically all the synonyms of the word “Interesting”

In the song, Dr. Sid and Don Jazzy describe a lady’s totality as very interesting. This lady’s personality, character, physique, sexuality and culinary skill make her an interesting lady. Her good intentions and prayers for a man makes her also interesting. Her love is true and not deceitful. More interesting is the fact that she is one of the few ladies who would stick with a guy not only when things are rosy, but would stay beside such guy, and support the for a long time in difficult periods. Simply say, she is one lady that truly stays with a guy through thick and thin.  

They are fond of this type of lady and show readiness to take care of her as well as fully invest in her when the cash starts rolling in.

Lyrically: The lyrics are interesting, meaningful and catchy. Although, the ltrics are not sufficient enough, but they are in order. The lyrics come in two verses, taken by Dr. Sid and Don Jazzy respectively. They have the same number of lines. The pre-chorus was taken thrice by Don Jazzy alone while the chorus was taken thrice by both Dr. Sid and Don Jazzy. The artistes sang in pidgin.

Vocal: Very melodious and impressive! Dr Sid just took me back to the days he song the song “Something about you girl” Nna mhen, I so love that song. I just replayed it now actually. View some of the lyrics for the chorus of the song “Something about you” below…

Oh sorry did I jut divert? It seems so. So I was talking about their vocal…

Dr. Sid has an appealing vocal. I dont’ know how Don Jazzy manages to do it; he may not have the Celine Dion or Justin Bieber kind of voice, but his vocal adds melody to a song. Their vocal was clear.

In the pre-chorus, Don Jazzy avoided saying a particularword and left it open for the listeners to fill; but one can actually decipher that the best word that fits in is “Body.” What y’all think?

Melody: Very very tuneful. I am just whining to this song. The rhythm is compelling. There was consistency in the syle of rhythm. The instrumentals are solid and thrilling and well arranged. The major instruments used to compose the song include drum, piano and guitar.

This song is on repeat for me even though the video is yet to drop.
