WHAT IS THE SONG “SWEET MARY J” BY KCEE ALL ABOUT

This is no doubt a love song. Kcee sings about a charming lady, Mary J’s true love for him. He describes Mary J as one of a kind personality who is not in the relationship because of sex or money, but because she truly loves him wholeheartedly. She is the type that is dating him for what he is and not what he has or his status.

Kcee also talks about the effect Mary J has on him that makes him go high and arouses him. He shows readiness to treat Mary J well forever for the good loving he gives him.

Lyrically: The lyrics are quite disorganized. I can’t really tell if the song truly comes in two verses as suggested in this article. The chorus, however, was taken twice.

Vocal: The artiste has an appealing vocal. There was consistency in his vocal quality; there was no time he went out of tune.

Melody: This song is melodic. It has a reggae feel that would enter deep into your soul. You can’t just listen to this tune and still remain loveless; omo, you go mellow straight away.

Kcee sang in Standard English and fused it with pidgin. The major instruments used to compose the song include drums and piano. The beat was produced by Black Jerzee and the visual was performed at Aktivated Studio.

The background female vocalist sounds so much like that of gospel singer- Essence. Where is she though? Hmm, Essence; one true powerful vocalist Nigeria has ever had. What y’all think?

Interestingly, Ogefash blog also known as Ogefash Photo Blog is the first blog all over the world to blog with lots of interesting pictures to support all articles. Ogefash says "I don't keep male friends because they always say "sex" is part of friendship. I don't keep female friends because they are always bitchy. I only keep people I can call more than a friend!" Ogefash has an affinity for TV reality shows. In 2018, she represented Nigeria in the PanAfrican TV reality game show "The Maltavator Challenge" powered by Nigeria's number one malt drink packed full of energy giving vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B6;Malta Guinness.
